Its so obviously how they were hiding their homosexuality.
Thank you very much, Beit Tikkun, for uploading this lovely song so that we all can listen to it again anytime in the near future. ™ Please have a nice day today. ™
I remember every single Jewish song that there is, including this one, since I was much younger. Before I do forget both Harry Belafonte and Danny Kaye sing this song down to perfection the way it should be. ™ Please always do post only positive comments over here daily. ™

I am Greek and Harry had come to Greece and sang Greek songs!
In fifth grade gym, we danced to this. It was called the "Hora". I fell in love with this song. I remember it like it was yesterday, and I'm 67.

Now my heart is singing! I am a Christian and live in South Africa. The language of music is universal. Shalom.
Back in the 70’s I spent a summer in Israel. I’m Catholic, not Jewish but I spent a few weeks on a kibbutz. At that time we were the last Jewish settlement on the Gaza Strip. On Saturday nights, after Shabbat, there was always a party with dancing and singing. This song was always sung.
Wir durften dieses Lied im Musikunterricht lernen, wir haben es sehr gerne gesungen. Bis heute kann ich noch alle Strophen.
The most gorgeous song. I am not Jewish, but wow..I love Hava Nagilla

So Sweet ❤❤
I am from the city of Constantine, Algeria, and I really like this song, and every time I hear it, it reminds me of Cheikh Raymond.Raymond Raoul Leiris was born on July 27, 1912 in Constantine and was assassinated on June 22, 1961. in Constantine. He is an Arabic-speaking singer and Jewish oud player from Algeria. Teacher of Arab-Andalusian music, Jewish who sings. In Arabic1, he is respected by the Jews and Muslims of Algeria who nicknamed “Sheikh Raymond.” since the mid-1930s as a sign of respect.
Deux chanteurs géniaux qui chantent l’année de ma naissance 😂😂😂😂😂.
I love seeing this so many years later!
Harry Belafonte was so elegant! He did masses of charitable work and never told a soul. Only at his death was it made public. Added to that, he was an incredible performer! SO was Danny Kaye.
