You guys should consider checking out "Mr. Robot" if you haven't already. Every single person who I've recommended that show to, who have watched it all the way through, were absolutely blown away. "Breaking Bad" used to be my #1, but "Mr. Robot" absolutely nabbed that top spot. The show starts as a normal, relatively straightforward story, and opens way.. WAY up. Side note: try to go in as blind as you can. It's an EXTREMELY rewarding watch.

The Godfather is the ultimate mafia film because it didn’t glamorize the mafia. It was an in-depth look into early 20th century Sicilian immigrants in the USA and how some of them turned to petty crime and then organized crime. For them, “the American Dream” was much darker than most other immigrants. Patriarchal Sicilian culture was strong. Women were expected to get married and provide sons, and they were to be kept away from their husbands’ business dealings (for their protection). Being godparents was a sacred trust between families. Ethnic competition and bigotry were also strong. Sicilians feuded with the Irish, the Russians, the Hispanic families, and of course the Jews and African Americans. In The Godfather, there was not one F-bomb spoken. They didn’t need to speak that way. If you offended or betrayed them, they made you pay with their brutal actions - not words. They were serious men.

The godfather set the standard for all that that followed.

Great Podcast Guys!...I just had to make a quick comment Ant-man wasnt introduced in Civil War. If you remember Ant-man had his solo debut film in 2015 and Civil War was the next MCU movie in 2016. Capt learned about Scott Lang from Falcon when they had there little fight at the Avengers Headquarters...as far as the subject goes its extremely hard to pick from the 2 films but I would have to pick Civil War as my go to if I had to pick.
