I travelled through Portbou in 1983 while Interrailing. I only have a vague recollection of the station now so it's nice to see it again. At the time I was travelling from Avignon to Barcelona (with a change of train at Portbou because of the change in railway gauge to Iberian Gauge. I expect it took me an entire day to make the journey.

Am i missing something? 1st class and 2nd class look the same? What is the differences? If anything the more "standard" layout for me in the uk 2 by 2 seats instead of 6 in a room where you have to sit and potentially face someone the entire time seems better. I'd much rather have that.
