    Anybody here after watching US repeat history in 2024 and taking the bronze again?

    • @mikeg8375
      @mikeg8375 5 дней назад

      Absolutely. It was crazy how many parallels there were with this competition. It was almost eerie, Especially when we all knew it could come down to the last competitor on horse, just like with Sasha.... and thats exactly what happened! I cheered just as loud for Nedoroscik as i did for Artemev. Now let's hope Nedoroscik wins the gold in the pommel horse final. I think this is our best shot at a gold as we have had in a long time. He can do it!

    5:52 I really enjoy the way that chen yibing does his Russian wendeswings on floor. I feel that they look better than the main technique of travelling randomly around in a circle. he seems to maintain it in the same place.

    Этапный ЧМ-79 для советсеой мкжской гимнастики. Впервые 1958 года в командном первенстве победила сборная СССР. Наконец-то японцы остались позади. В дальнейшем были победы на ЧМ-81, 85, 87,89 и 91 годов. Победы на ОИ 1980, 1988, 1992. годов. В 1996 году ОИ выигрывала сборная России. Жаль на ОИ-84 не участвовали.Кстати были победы на соревнованиях Дружба-84 и Играх Доброй Воли 1986 и 1990 годов.

    I learned more about men’s gymnastics in 30 minutes with these commentators than I did in 30 years of NBC commentating. Plus, I love their absolute delight in what they’re seeing. It makes them a great match to commentate this final!

    Russian isn't that hard to learn. Grammar can be at times. Lots of English words are pronounced in a Russian manner. Actually being bilingual has helped English speakers learn better English. You learn both structure and tenses in the same manner. Gimnastiki means gymnastics. Mozchino gimnast means male gymnast. There has been Russian gymnastic terminology in past issues of International Gymnast and other gymnastic magazines. I also have seen a gymnastics dictionary with several languages in it. It had 12 languages.

    Watching this in 2020 and I just had to laugh at something they said after Jonathan Horton’s vault. “You get the feeling that life in the USA is a competition, don’t you?”. Well, considering most of these guys have either finished up, or are still IN their NCAA careers, I’d say so.

    Team China came 1st in every single apparatus except FX. On FX the came 6th, but their score was still only .425 behind the leader (South Korea). The FX scores for the top 6 teams where all within half a point. They then went on to absolutely destroy the field other every other event. A great recovery after a less than standard FX start. Dominance !

      I’m embarrassed to read a fellow speaker of English speak in such an ignorant tone. If you want to understand, why don’t you study Russian? English isn’t the only language. Can you imagine how long it would take someone to do a translation of this into English? And even then they would need to translate it into Chinese, Japanese, French, German etc etc.

    А почему вы на английский, а не на русский манер, произносите японские имена (Такаши, а не Такаси, Такуджи, а не Такудзи, и т.п.)? От этого всё настроение портится.

    Everyone says the Korean who came 3rd who technically lost gold by the wrong start value on parallel bars was robbed. The one who was REALLY robbed who nobody talks about though was the 2nd place finisher who lost gold by 0.012. He was underscored on basically every event and he CLEARLY should have beaten both Hamm and his teammate, neither who I think should have even medaled.
