Anybody here after watching US repeat history in 2024 and taking the bronze again?
Absolutely. It was crazy how many parallels there were with this competition. It was almost eerie, Especially when we all knew it could come down to the last competitor on horse, just like with Sasha.... and thats exactly what happened! I cheered just as loud for Nedoroscik as i did for Artemev. Now let's hope Nedoroscik wins the gold in the pommel horse final. I think this is our best shot at a gold as we have had in a long time. He can do it!
Wow
5:52 I really enjoy the way that chen yibing does his Russian wendeswings on floor. I feel that they look better than the main technique of travelling randomly around in a circle. he seems to maintain it in the same place.
Thank you!
Thanks for the memories ,Double Wan Na noble 14 October 2023
Awesome
i am a gymnast and have done many things. but I really want to try pole vault
Can we all just appreciate the amount of work he puts into his videos for us?
12 hours of adobe lightroom on this one, including ableton audio re-calibration

This Chinese team in 2008 was the most dominant team of ALL time since Japan last century. Insanely dominant dear lord.
That's cool.
Nice work.
can someone tell me what pixel is the gymnist?
122p, perfectly tailored for you
I’m grateful for the clip, it would have been cool to know who is who amongst the competitors.
I learned more about men’s gymnastics in 30 minutes with these commentators than I did in 30 years of NBC commentating. Plus, I love their absolute delight in what they’re seeing. It makes them a great match to commentate this final!
Agreed!! NBC is insufferable, I can hardly watch them anymore
Russian isn't that hard to learn. Grammar can be at times. Lots of English words are pronounced in a Russian manner. Actually being bilingual has helped English speakers learn better English. You learn both structure and tenses in the same manner. Gimnastiki means gymnastics. Mozchino gimnast means male gymnast. There has been Russian gymnastic terminology in past issues of International Gymnast and other gymnastic magazines. I also have seen a gymnastics dictionary with several languages in it. It had 12 languages.
So proud of this rookie US team. They came in expected to not have a chance, and ended up taking bronze. Great job guys.
@Paul C That is YOUR opinion.
Finally I can see young Kohei Uchimura
That's why I'm here
thanks for the video.
Men vault has evolved into ways more difficult in just 3 Olympics
This was extremely exciting
I actually never seen this
No way, Kohei Uchimura!

Missing Korolev who would have fit well on the podium
Watching this in 2020 and I just had to laugh at something they said after Jonathan Horton’s vault. “You get the feeling that life in the USA is a competition, don’t you?”. Well, considering most of these guys have either finished up, or are still IN their NCAA careers, I’d say so.
Thanks for this treasure.

Magyar Zoltán 51:28-tól. Nagyon szép! Gratulálok! :)
Team China came 1st in every single apparatus except FX. On FX the came 6th, but their score was still only .425 behind the leader (South Korea). The FX scores for the top 6 teams where all within half a point. They then went on to absolutely destroy the field other every other event. A great recovery after a less than standard FX start. Dominance !
Wow Zou Kai and Chen their home crowds.
Excellent thank you.
Amazingly, Dad.
nice.
Great to see the how far gymnastics has come since.🤯👏
Yet the Rings and pommel horse haven't changed that much.

who could think that time, that Ushimura would became the King???
Ik right!
I'll NEVER forget the feeling of watching this for the 1st time. Goosebump city when Sahsa hit that last routine for team USA! 👏💪
It was so exciting!
I swore I heard the names 'Aleksei Nemov'(during high bar) and 'Yuri Van Gelder'(during rings) in this video. Sons of former Olympians?!?
Those scores on side horse are way too high, even for 1964. Russell Mills was much better than any of these, winning NCAA side horse in 1964.
Who is he ?? I don’t think many people know your favorite no name gymnast !
Don't post videos without English, at least, translate.. please. It's annoying to listen to a language you can't understand. How can you properly follow what's going on?
Sorry but could be the only surviving broadcast of the gymnastics part of the 1964 Olympics the NBC part of it may have been wiped
I’m embarrassed to read a fellow speaker of English speak in such an ignorant tone. If you want to understand, why don’t you study Russian? English isn’t the only language. Can you imagine how long it would take someone to do a translation of this into English? And even then they would need to translate it into Chinese, Japanese, French, German etc etc.
There is an auto translator you can use, rather than lashing out, making demands at people who have done us all a great favor by posting this wonderful video.

Zoo kayai
Looked like Zoltan Magyar was there
WOAH this guy is so good at FLYING. I don't think I could ever fight GRAVITY like that.
Everyone says the Korean who came 3rd who technically lost gold by the wrong start value on parallel bars was robbed. The one who was REALLY robbed who nobody talks about though was the 2nd place finisher who lost gold by 0.012. He was underscored on basically every event and he CLEARLY should have beaten both Hamm and his teammate, neither who I think should have even medaled.
