My wife went out just for a night and i was the primary parent for about 36 hours and that alone gave me a glimps of why it was hell on my wife to be a stay at home mom. Now, both of us are working opposite shifts to make more money and so she doesn't get driven crazy. I couldn't handle the stress of it being all me.

My issue with alcohol was like an abusive relationship. It almost killed me, and it gave me a liver disease in which I will never recover unless I would happen to get a transplant, which I may not due to the fact I also have a genetic condition known as Hemachromatosis which I had no idea I even had until I was diagnosed with cirrhosis.

Every summer up here we get many boating fatalities. Too many to keep track of. Nearly all of them involve some jack*** drunk. No, this isn't funny. I've dragged too many lakes and I know what those bodies are like after being under water any length of time. By the way...in my state you can bicycle drunk or even ride a horse while intoxicated...but if you so much as get into an inner tube while drunk, you are DUI. YES, we do make those arrests.

Good job dude! I am almost 20 years sober from all the hard drugs and alcohol! It's a great thing when you get sober and get to really experience life! I was 13 when I started doing drugs and when I was 20 I got pregnant and quit everything cold turkey and haven't ever looked back! My son saved my life! If I wouldn't have got pregnant I would be dead. Keep up the hard work!
