While the bridge crosses a Salmon River, in CN references it is called the Little Salmon River Bridge or Viaduct. This so as to not confuse it with the Salmon River bridge in Chipman as both bridges were on the original NTR route. The bridge is 3920 feet long and 198 above the ground at the highest point. Love the video. I wish I had a drone in my camera equipment box

Nice views. :) The one time my father and I went to PEI on a road trip, we saw that bridge in the process of being built. It was very neat. I'd like to visit again to drive over it.
Thanks! The ferry was nice to split up the travel, but the wait times were getting longer and longer. The bridge makes it much more convenient. There is still a ferry from Nova Scotia to PEI as well so if people really wanted the ferry experience they can still enjoy that. The best of both worlds

Very nice video of West Point Lighthouse! I finally made it to the top Sept.02/23 after years of trying to get there when they were opened. So much has changed. Beautiful spot.

Hi there. We used to visit here every summer when I was a kid. It was a magical place and the love that Colonel Johnstone had for it was evident. I read that it was going to be redeveloped as Woodleigh Castles, a spa and retreat but when I went online recently to check on their progress, I noticed that the website is gone and their You Tube content is gone as well. Have their plans fallen through?
I haven't heard anything lately. I also loved going and then taking my daughters. I was thankful for the opportunity to be around it again when it was finally purchased. I was saddened when they sold to this new company.
@@ospreycove The notion that it won't be a public attraction for everyone to enjoy just doesn't seem right, does it. I'm glad the site of the Old Manor House has been repurposed as a haunted house attraction though. Might be worth a visit this summer plus a stop at the Frosty Treat, another childhood favourite!
@@verdiguy I had also heard it was going to have 100 room hotel and a Michelin style chef (which basically means world class) and outside of the price range of almost everyone I know.

Predominately lobster. Some will also drag for scallops, fish tuna or some other catch. But lobster is the main money in all of these harbours.
