the reason why you need to 4x4 to with correct torque and power haul out the vessel up the ramp and a boat guide on the trailer to help align the boat on the trailer on windy days.
For the most part that was a well oiled machine!

I use that ramp often.. 20-30 thousand boats out for the Trump birthday parade, the current there pulls you to the left, so if you line up the front, the rear is off. hard ramp if you don't use it a lot.

lol its all fun and good until some asshole dumps the shitters into the bay. Happens all the time in MN and winds up getting people sick if the water is too still. Lake Minnetonka (Prince/Purple Rain), is the worst. There is this stagnant bay of piss that people party in.
Luckily we don't deal with that in Lake Havasu.

A lot of noise and people , but not much going on. Just sitting in the boat drinking. I would rather be fishing on a quiet lake somewhere else.
that's _being social_ these days, campgrounds, rock crawling, sand dunes 😞 it's everywhere even out on the lake over the holiday is overcrowded insane.

That looks boring as hell. As a kid and teen, we went in the shops when we stopped in the channel but stayed at crazy horse campground and played on the beach or went up or down the river to play on a beach or sandbar. In 99 and 2000 we rented pwc. My brother has a boat now and hangs out south of the 10 freeway on the river at a popular spot, but I hate the sun and heat and doing nothing. Fishing up the 395 in the sierra nevada mountains is better but it is still too crowded. Unfortunately, I don't like people much and can't stand their noise, carelessness that impacts me (parents letting kids play baseball or football around vehicles which are easily damaged) or the people who think others should have to suck in their smoke (I'm allergic to tobacco smoke and find pot smoke to be as nasty as dog crap, if it was legal, I would do edibles for pain management). So, I completely agree that if I'm outside in the elements, I want a quiet place with like minded people, otherwise I could stay at home in my nice shop or in the house doing other activities. As a career construction worker, I have been around enough noise and in the elements........yep, I am a picky person.

The best ramp set up I've seen so far, no docks in the way for dock campers and the ramps are not too steep.
Yeah this ramp is nice, this is usually where we prefer to launch at.
