Watching this video in 2x😂 A question though, nowadays a lot people are saying to not watch video in 2x because that hampers our brain, attention, focus, etc. What's your views on that?
@shobhansundargoutam I think watching a short form of content will definitely do that, but If you can hold your attention for long form video, even in 2x will not effect that. If I imagine a version of me not doing that meets me in real life, I will definitely beat him in learning and productivity.

For getting information you want speed is crucial. But if you are killing a time with watching something, then it doesn't matter and even makes things less entertaining for you, because it makes your brain to speed up. So I would wrap it like it's the same as with everything. If you consume 1x garbage of food, content, or anything, it will 1x damage you. If you double it, you will harm yourself with 2x rate, and eventually your body/brain can't take anymore. But if you look for something in food (for example good nutrients) or in what you watch, is less likely, that it will go bad. You just have to do it intentionally and gradually. With progress you will be able to educate yourself faster, because it will become more vulnerable fo informations of your interest.

Probabilistic methods like naive bayes, decision trees and kernel based methods like SVM offer much simple ways to solve the same classification/regression problem while being interpretable. Derivative based methods still work as black box. I would argue to not skip learning any of these and always start with simpler solution whenever attempting any problem. Nice video though!
I will agree to that but the Goal for this video is to give a roadmap to quickly excel in ML in short time, more like what what are 20 percent things which will give 80 percent outcome. And all the derivative based methods are pre-requisite and stepping stone for each other thus makes learning very fast. While I don't recommend skipping anything, but I recommend the order where you get you most bang for your buck time wise.

Such an eye opener for me.I worked as a search engine evalutor for years on a microsoft crowd sourcing project and basically it requires only data entry skills.So skillwise I am still an infant in tech.But I learned python and worked on some kaggle datasets also.But I understand that I am too late for this(28yr).I am gonna prepare for some non technical jobs and make a career through that way.Thanks for the video..
