The Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) on 25 May, 2024 inaugurated the ‘Badze’ (stones erected on the wayside for seating/ resting purpose) in commemoration of its 50th anniversary scheduled from December 17 to the 21st 2024.
The historic event was attended by all 13 living past presidents out of the total 19 who have led the organisation over the past five decades. The ceremony began at Meraselieju with hoisting of KYO flag by all eight peer groups, while the torch flame ignited by the current president was passed on to all the living presidents hand-to-hand till the senior most living president lighted the Badze cauldron as a symbol of transmitting unity and friendship for its golden jub...
