Watching all the video clips of how those few days went, it’s unreal that that’s really me graduating, that that’s really me throwing my hat, that’s me with a diploma in my hands. These 4 years have been a crazy journey and to be honest, October of my junior year I didn’t think I would be done by this time or even be given the chance to finish. I’m so grateful for all the people that the academy has brought me, and the bonds that can never be broken, I love all y’all. Hey friends :) I filmed this vlog as I followed Cam through his last few days at the academy, and I tried to capture all the small events the conclude someone’s cadet career. Along the way I interviewed some people so I thought it would be fun to add. Ever day was really different because of the different activities and rest days, but generally we went to school, ate lunch and then had an activity in the evening. You don’t know me but I’ve been following your videos for about three years now with a dream of getting into the academy (I didn’t unfortunately because my SAT wasn’t high enough sadly) and watching you grow as a person from packing to BT to have a little person (who’s just the cutest!) is just amazing and it’s safe to say I’m really proud!! It’s because of you I’ll try again next year to get in again. My dad was a professor of Economics at the Air Force Academy in the late 1960s. I was in 4th grade. We lived in Douglas Valley and loved exploring in the woods. Went to Air Force/ Navy games. It was a great life. I wish you the best and know you will have the time of your life there. Take care!
