      Ofcourse but then you need to slow cook it for more hours. You will need to add more water: Bring it to boil , after 15-20 minutes, lower heat to slow cook till it is cooked tender. If you want to cook it faster you can cook on high heat that is if you are available to keep checking the water Level and ensure it doesn’t burn before it is cooked. Else slow cook on low heat and check from time to time if you need to add more water until it is cooked.😊

      You can soak it , if you do then cooking time reduces. But I generally don’t soak it overnight.

      It is not much🙂.. I can understand the wooden spoon looks big but it only holds less than 1/4 tsp salt..so the amount of salt was appropriate for the cooked dish but if you feel it’s more than please add salt to your taste 😊

      It can vary depending on the size of cooker, heat and other factors. But if you are use to cooking daal in pressure then use your timings so you know your daal is cooked. If not then pressure cook on medium heat for 3 whistles and then cook for 10 mins on very very low heat and switch off gas.

      It is surely not 10 Tsp Salt.🙂 The wooden spoon I am using is less than 1/4 tsp even if it looks big. To add 1 Tsp salt- I have to fill that spoon 4-5 times. Kindly please add salt to your taste !🙂
