Why is this not labeled as a cover.

This is an absolutely lovely rendition of this Jimi Hendrix classic. Sancho O'Dell also covered this legendary song and it was quite an emotional experience in the studio laying this down on tape. we almost broke down in tears.

This is a beautiful cover version of a song that I absolutely love very much! Great guitar work with sympathetic lead effects that touched my soul. Vocals were lovely and from the heart. As others have written, I was expecting to hear jimi, but was glad I got to hear this!!! Thanks 😊

Excellent. Faithful arrangement with your own flourishes and a stellar vocal. A treat to hear it again through your artistic sensibilities. For the person who can't get past this not labelled as a cover, it leads to Jimi's album version immediately after this version plays so get both back to back. No need to have a cow about it, as we used to say when we were kids. It also leads to studio outtakes by Jimi of this song which I have never heard before and probably wouldn't have found without this posting. Thank you, or as Linc Hayes, as played by Clarence Williams III, would say on The Mod Squad, "Solid!"
