I think they mainly just sing the hits as they probably feel thats what the fans want to hear. I am a big Arnel fan!

Estoy de acuerdo. Ni siquiera soy mexicano, pero realmente disfruté el espectáculo y sentí que representaba maravillosamente a México 🇲🇽

You can walk to Xcaret Park, but honestly it would better to take the free shuttle or the free boat ride to the park. Xcaret, Xplor and Xenses are all next to each other, but it would be a bit of a walk to get there. Depending on the time of year, it would likely be really hot and Xcaret park is huge, you will be doing alot of walking while you are there too.

Most other bands fizzle when vocalist is replaced. There are only a few exceptions.

i tell you, even tho Paul's voice is shot, they still put on a fantastic show!

We have been 3 times in December, 1x in April, 2x in May and 1x in July. We prefer December, but you would need go to early to mid December, once you hit the 22nd or so, the price jumps until Jan 1 because of Christmas & New years. April is good, May is good but risky for being too hot. July is a no-no, not only is it really hot but if you go over holidays or over the summer, it will be much busier as well.

@@vistula462 Yes, those would still be considered off-peak. My sister has gone 2x in September and enjoyed it. If you go at the end of October, you can also see the Day of the Dead festivities at Xcaret Park. Sort of a Mexican Celebration, think the movie "Coco".

I would agree with your last statement for sure. Arnel has been in Journey now for longer than Steve was. I wouldnt say Arnel is better than Steve, but RIGHT NOW he is.

Those were the golden years, all the way up to Dynasty, which was my first album actually - but not my favorite. I am still partial to Kiss Alive! and Kiss Alive II. They did have some good albums in the mid to late 80s and their live show is still the BEST around, even tho Paul and Gene are in their 70s.
