Limited weld class in Cayuga, Indiana. Was a pretty good derby. 100 car count total and 9 diff classes. Car ran great other then some wire issues as you can see n the video.

Not easy trying to hold the kill wire on with one hand and start,shift and steer with the other. still an awesome derby and I ended up 4th out of 15 limited welds.

This is my helmet cam from that night running the limited weld class. After a few decent hits, I made a good reverse shot on someone but was hard enough that my camera flipped up. You still get some in car view till then.

This was our last derby for the yr. Ran my 95 Towncar. Was a good derby and I got to bang around for a few and walk off the track. That's a win n my book.

95 Towncar I paid $150 for off a guy I work with. Car is in decent shop other then passenger side crush box was ate out with rust. Driver side was perfect. Got it all patched up and engine mounts in. Slowly but surely it's coming along. My brother came a couple weekends ago and we tilted the front end. Got the front body mounts done. Plan on getting the engine in and hopefully get it started. what are the lines running into the headers?
They are the crankcase evac. It keep the pressure down inside the engine. Plus pulls heat out of the valve covers . Most older engines would have had a cap with a hose on it goin back into the carb and reuse anything coming out. This system is used on alot of demo cars. I've been running this set up for bout 12-14 yrs or so.

If you was to buy a switch box from nerat and some good heat shrink connectors you wouldn't have that proble
Ya I thought bout buying one of their switch boxes.
You can make a nice clean wiring harness and won't have any more issues with finding wires your a sitting duck when you have to look for wires like that it only takes 1 bad shot to end your night all because you had to sit one extra second to get your car started back up

when I ran, I would go into the track with a cold engine, and shut it down, and restart when the count down started,( no showboating!!!!), I did notice that the engine was not running good, he was on the "CRANK" a lot. I am not sure what that was about????
