@@chrisivas9849 hard to translate for my limited Japanese knowledge. The first ten characters are an archaic/ceremonial way of counting the numbers 1-10. There is numerological significance. A Shinto practitioner tries to chant this, or another Japanese prayer once per day. You don't need to know what it means to practice, and prior religious background is not important/ i.e. syncretism is highly tolerated. If you chant this every day, or whenever possible, a spirit, called a kami, is more likely to come to your home and bless you.

こうゆう、太陽を二年前くらいから見始めました。気づいたらいらっしゃる?そうゆう日に見上げる?がありました。そのうちに撮影するように、なりました。
うちのおばあさんは数を数える時に必ず 「ひふみよいむなやこと」とやっていました。ちょい前の先祖は当たり前に日常で祝詞を唱えていたのかも、と感じます。よく考えたら、最近は、この数の数え方を聞かなくなりましたね。。
