0:42 IS WILD, he breaks a bit early to drift the car near one side to then move the car to the next corner, using first gear and full throttle , unbelivable

dear lord ,1sec faster than me but I know I am screwing up the t4-t5 combo being cautious there and you went through it like crazy, alien :)

What stands out most to me is how much you seem to slide around, like it almost feels like you are drifting round some of these corners lol. Any time I have that level of slip I lose the rear and spin out. I also did not realize the track limits were so generous on turn 1. Thanks for the lap!

Hey, this track is on the mx5 calendar again! Great lap, but could I ask how you down shifted on turns 8/9 at around 0:57. It doesn’t seem to let me even when I am at similar revs to you. It doesn’t look like you’re using a clutch. Sorry if this is a silly question! Thanks

I don't see what you're doing differently than me, you're just a lot faster. I'm averaging 1:41:5 to 1:42 :(

Hi Kane! On entry to village you went from 3rd to 2nd and almost instantly shortshifted back to 3rd - that was intentional or just a mistake?

What most could learn from is how smooth his telemetry curves are. There is no playing with the throttle and brake like 99% of racers. It makes it very repeatable. I see that in worlds best sim racers and what I’m modeling my style on.

This combo is hard for me to find the speed. I'm stuck in low 30.2 as PB. I did manage to find a couple tenths after watching this lap though. Previously was not going to 6th leading to the 1st chicane. After thinking about why use 6th it seems it's more about not having the massive engine braking when you initially stomp on it. Car definitely feels more stable in 6th using more pedal.

I cannot downshift that quick in the T2 hairpin without losing the rear. But I just use the shifters and don´t use the clutch and I don't rev up the car (I think I have enabled the autoblip, sorry I'm a beginner). I guess that the driver in the video is reving up the engine. Anyone can figure out his shifting technique?
