Thanks for uploading this!
I saw Vin perform in Virginia in the late '70s. The best performer I ever saw. He was a great comedian who had everyone in the audience laughing as he cleverly introduced each song. Then he would sing a heartfelt song with his beautiful voice and a great melody and story that moved you to tears. More people should see this video to get some sense of how wonderful he was!
❤
Thank you for this upload
love it!

Fantastic, thank you.
Don’t know why it won’t register my “like.” Going to read up on this damn dam now.
Can’t wait to see what you’ll add next. Just started to work my way through what’s here tonight and will do more tomorrow- lovely stuff!

Wow
Thanks for this. I'm a big fan of this kind of "folk" music.
Wow! 🙂
Beautiful.
Who’s playing guitar on this track Dave?
It's either Tony Wilson or Gordon Tyrrall
RIP Rick Jones
Great band, great song, great friend. RIP
This must be their masterpiece; I have considered this a very moving and impressive piece of music, ever since I first heard it in the late '70s. It's funny but also very very sad.
I know what you mean but I think Golden Girl is even better. All three singers etc...
@@julianorth1354 Hadn't heard it in a while, but it's certainly great too. Agreed that Code of the Road is their best album? By the way, sorry about the name change, I'm also Atkinson14....
Yeah, if we can only take one album, that's the one. I knew them quite well in those days and begged them to release a live album. Culminating in us all singing 'Yesterday's Music'! Ah, memory, eh?
@@julianorth1354 you're lucky to have seen them live.
@@hansfransmusic I was. They were aces.
Happy Times in the 1970s.
That's right. This kind of music contributed to the happy times. Pub Rock was so much fun and less prohibitively expensive than some live music these days...

Saw this band loads of times at the Red Lion in Brentford in the 70s . Kenny Lynch used to turn up and do a guest appearance . They used to play a great version of Steely Dans "Pretzel logic"...
more !!!!!!
used to follow these guys round the pub circuit south of the river in the mid 70s. great to hear them again.
Lovely slide from Steve Simpson - not to mention that great voice.
