I've been messing with this thing for like 3 months and still can't grasp it LOL you rock but I did just start learning the Travis picking style.I did pay for the tab you had for sale,however I wish you would do play along with the tabs. The same way you did that one country blues lick ,which is awesome as well. Keep them coming. You inspired me to get a banjo as well. Keep up the good work!

Howdy John . . . . . just a comment on how I am progressing with this tune, if you're interested. 😊🤷🏻‍♂ I don't adhere to any one style. Until five/six years ago I was a strummer. Since then I have learnt to pick a bit, eg, general pickin' and a bit of 'Travis' pickin', but this is the first time I've attempted the 'Carter Scratch'. You make it look a lot easier than it is, which is usual. I've had to adapt your style to the way I'm used to playing, not that much with the thumb but with my other fingers on the right hand. It's a challenge but I'm up for it. For what I want from the tune and after looking at a few arrangements on YT, yours is the one I like the most. Once I get it down I'll be then working out how to incorporate your arrangement with vocals. Cheers for now John. ✌
