Steve Poltz Just Played the Greatest Show of His Life | Morse Code Podcast #206
Steve Poltz is a… a.. what is he? In the man’s own words, “I’m just a weirdo, a freak, a bon vivant, a rounder, a rabble rouser, a workaholic, a people pleaser, an idiot and a grateful kid who ran away and joined the circus.”
Most of us know Poltz as one of the most charismatic live performers working today. Whether he’s playing little club in Halifax, or trading verses with Jewel (whose hit song “You Were Made for Me” he co-wrote), or serenading Cayamo, Poltz is Poltz, full on and no exceptions. Hence the the superlative, announced each night, by the man himself:
“This is the Greatest Show of My Life!”
I shared a show with Steve once. Unsurprisingly, it was the same night I met Apple co-fou...

1:09:00 The saying goes that if you forget history you’re doomed to repeat it, but that somewhat implies that people know history, and very few truly do. The statement should just be that history repeats itself, which Critter sort of alluded to.

Hey Morse Code Podcast. Your youtube video content is really good. but views and subscribers are much lower. To increase subscribers and views, you need to do channel SEO meaning your videos are not fully SEO. SEO is not friendly to your title. The SEO score is very low. The main reason why videos go viral is because of video SEO and organic promotion. If you do SEO and promotion then lots of views and subscribers will come to your channel and you will be able to monetize your channel in a few days. I can help you. If you want. Thank you

I had the joyous experience of mixing Bill's show at U-Wi.-Parkside many years back, and I clearly remember having a fit as I was unable to make my lovely Lexicon reverb unit work at Bill's sound check. Patched backwards, easy fix, tons of reverb. ( "Taj Majal" 7 seconds long!) Bill simply said: "I think you got reverb, now..." All tension relieved. Flute a mile long.

It's amazing how hard governments have to work on brainwashing people, and so unfortunate how successful it often is. Because that shouldn't be a conflict, all those people went to murder foreigners because of racism and a need to keep money flowing to the worst bastards on the planet. They suck, they are bad people. It doesn't matter why they signed up or how nice they were to her as a kid, they volunteered to be paid murderers for the American Corporate class, that's objectively monstrous.
