Playworld. How Adam Ross Wrote the Most Beautiful Novel You’ll Read This Year.
Просмотров 7620 часов назад
Adam Ross’s second novel, Playworld, some dozen-plus years in the making, is one of the best pieces of fiction I’ve read in the last five years. But who cares what I think? Sources no less venerable than The New York Times, the LA Times, the Boston Globe, the Wall Street Journal, are lining up to sing its praises. “Dazzling and endearing,” writes Vogue. The Washington Post croons: “the book is ...

Ryan Rado: Being Willing to Fail, and Somehow Not Failing | Morse Code Podcast #211

Ryan Rado is a painter, musician, ontological coach, and host of the Make it Perfect Podcast. Don’t worry about it. I also had to look up what an ontological coach was. And to be honest, I didn’t do that until after taping our conversation, because I was moved by this conversation and wanted to know more about what Ryan and his life and work. The way he was in the room, how he shared so freely,...

The end of the year is a good time to take a step back and think about what you're doing and why. I've been doing the podcast for more than a year more than sixty full length episodes and 200 videos. I'm still figuring out the metrics and the SEOs and a bunch of stuff I don't understand super well, but as to the intention? I'm 100% in. Let me know who you'd like to see on the pod, thanks for be...

Keep at it! Thank you for sharing your gifts.
Thank you. Means a lot!
Well i enjoyed this one
I love that i have never seen anybody who has worked with her in the past say anything bad about her and it seems that people genuinely love working with her. Im going to have to check out Bill Millers music, im not familiar with him.
Oh he is a gem, as is she
This song is called "Praises", it's an old song and it has some extra lyrics added in this version..
Yes that's right! Such a powerful song
absolutely fantastic. thank you for bringing this story to the world. so interesting and inspiring.
Thank you Jeff!
Drive and Strength in Numbers were THE most influential records in my path into studying bluegrass…those and Doc. Of course I worked my way back into the 40s and 50s material. I did play In my first BG band Natchez Trace and Down in the Swamp. Cracks me up -that I thought I could play that stuff back then. Those tunes and County Clare just washed me clean. 😊
I loved Drive, and those Doc and Merle records... Doc's "Deep Elum Blues" was my own entry point into the wide world of pickin' ~ korby
Love ya Chris. Come see us in Black Mountain again. “Do what you do…and It’ll do you.” Won’t forget. You helped.
That’s how I felt when started my only fans page 💯
Smart and beautiful 😍
she is!
Tori Amos is literally a channel from the heavens to convey emotion of consciousness. Plain and simple... this woman is "touched" by the universe.
TORI IS BIGGER THAN BONO!!!!! MALES ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE UP POWER...BUT THEY GONNA DO THAT
Great job!
Hell yeah!
Why is the font in the description white?

🥰🙏🫶🏻
Don't pick up hitchhiker joe!

@@MorseCodePodcast Yeah, he's a great story teller and was able to turn things back on you pretty well too. I watched another interview he did with Otis, and gonna try to find some of his stuff...'hitchhiker joe'...lol

You can play Little Sadie without a trigger warning, it's ok
i agree
Who is this? Who's Bobby? What band? You gotta give us some info
Yeah, this was a total waste of time.
Lyrics and Chords?
I saw Bill Miller on that Tori Amos tour many years ago. He was amazing, his music transported the audience. I've been a fan ever since!
You talked so much and somehow managed to say nothing
Songwriting is hard try it sometime
What are you talking about? They clearly described their song writing process that they practice ritualistically every night. The truth is not that nothing was said, but that you did not understand what was said.
That’s redhead Randy Newman
def a shared vibe
Hell Yeah Robert Ellis
he's a real one
i just love the way she speaks and how she chooses to say things!
she has a way with words, and makeup 🧛♀️
Drew is a joy to work with and a tremendous talent.
articulate fella for sure
This is gold!
Yes! Anthony is an amazing talent, in or out of the studio
True story! This technique is used some with people who’ve experienced trauma. Parts of us split off in order to protect during the times of trauma. Those parts need to learn to trust the present you. Listen to those voices. They are a part of you! Way to go gal!
I thought it was a great way to tap into your wiser self in a moment of trauma. Gonna use it in my own life
I feeeeel that. Just to easily spiraled. And I get so pissed once I realize I just allowed it.
👏👏👏
I've enjoyed Andi Marie's content. It's good to find your podcast as well. Thanks.
thanks for spending some time over here!
1:09:00 The saying goes that if you forget history you’re doomed to repeat it, but that somewhat implies that people know history, and very few truly do. The statement should just be that history repeats itself, which Critter sort of alluded to.
History is the best teacher, but you have to go to class
Love listening to Andi 💙
Gosh me too. ❤
Oh this is so good!!!! 🥰🥰
She is a gem!
What a beautiful way of expressing how innocent and human and necessary failure is to our growth. I love how you are witnessing your daughter in the process of figuring things out🩷🩷🩷
Beautiful song in the background. What’s the song?
Loved this experience so much!! Great podcast
Great content. Subscribed. I found you through Maya de vitry and Anthony da costa Fretboard Journal podcast episode. I love Anthony's playing on maya's album The Only Moment and I've been trying to learn more since then. Thanks!
Glad you found us! Sorry it took me so long to reply I'm still figuring this all out! Love many things about ADC, maybe his production savvy more than anything!
Great podcast ! His story of sobriety is inspiring, hope he keeps it up. His "Happy Holidays Everyone" album is probably the best album of seasonal originals I've heard in a very long time. Hard to find his other solo work here in Canada, though.
His sobriety story blew me away!
Nice - always loved Gaelic Storm - saw them perform in Athens, GA many years ago - absolutely crushed it. Love how relaxed the posture is throughout the whole song - shows just how good you both are to make it look so easy.
Oh its all Natalya. I was holding on for dear life
Beautiful!!
thank you!
Hey Morse Code Podcast. Your youtube video content is really good. but views and subscribers are much lower. To increase subscribers and views, you need to do channel SEO meaning your videos are not fully SEO. SEO is not friendly to your title. The SEO score is very low. The main reason why videos go viral is because of video SEO and organic promotion. If you do SEO and promotion then lots of views and subscribers will come to your channel and you will be able to monetize your channel in a few days. I can help you. If you want. Thank you
Jason Wilson is Genuine.
