Gin was sent flying and the reason he was floating there is because the other player didn't know what command to press, when their HP is in the red they can execute a finisher after a combo to break their konpaku bars. This is not an issue of the game, this is the player not knowing what to press in the window.

Gin floating was prolly for a combo that the other player didnt know how to finish
