I always thought it was random at all times... Now i know that banktoad works with the whatever last number of starbits is when you collect a star (either new or not). So if I get 999 i would get 9 and it wouldn't say that he's been working hard if you get 0 or a multiple of 10 (starbits) in that level. Nice and thanks for helping me figure out how Toad works in Galaxy 2 as that was a question that I thought wouldn't never have been answered!

No super miniturbo in the beginning of lap 1?

You should control the bouncing when you land on the wall. If you late trick, you should aim down. If you trick early, you should aim up. Late tricks makes you go further (not necessarily faster), whereas early tricks makes the kart land sooner, and it won't be able to land with the nose first.

I did watch it. And I saw that snaking only needs to be PERFECT for certain characters. Particularly those without the MT stat boost. That, and I didn't lose any time compared to going straight, as far as I could tell. The biggest issue with the straight is the end of the uphill where it becomes flat. Any sort of bouncing there easily sets you back a good 0.2-0.3 seconds.

You did a great job but snaking needs to be done PERFECTLY for it to be anywhere faster than going straight. Watch Astrostar7's snaking with Sprinter tutorial. There's a bit stuff you might not know.

Yeah, I haven't put much work into doing the shroomless cut, but I haven't gotten any sub 52 second laps with it the few times I tried.

It seems like that doing the shroomless shortcut really is slower.. Or maybe its not but it needs some pretty tight lines then which can be hard.
