Well, yeah. Dubbing songs for multiple languages usually isn't done in media that often, but it was back in the late 90's and early 2000's.

​@@CorruptFox92 well actually yuji naka was blown away but a lot of the music done for sonic by westerners so he's gone out of his way for decades relying on foreigners to provide many of the sonic music hits you know today

@@Fureiji88 Yuji Naka wasn't in charge of the music nor is he involved with this franchise anymore, as he left Sega in 2006 to work for Square Enix.

The English version sounds akin to when DBZ characters go Super Saiyan. The Japanese version sounds more like an actual painful scream, like it really hurt to pull that off.

​@@risingrevoltRather than that, It's how seriously the voice acting industry is taken in Japan so the skill floor is usually higher and they express better.

Roger never got to see the actual scene like the Japan voice actors did, so he had to imagine what the scene would look like.
