Haha I know. I think there's a difference between "maturing" and "mature," but video titles need to be simple and straight forward. In my experience professionally and personally, it's around this age is that you really start to see a noticeable change in elasticity, texture, and overall complexion (hi sun damage if you haven't been slathering with SPF your whole life). These makeup techniques work across all ages to keep skin looking more youthful. I can make myself look ten years older just with how much face makeup I apply and the products that I use.

Thank you! There are some pretty simple eyebrow techniques and products that you can use! I also love pairing a colored brow gel with a clear one over the top (for extra hold). My go to colored brow gels right now are Elf Wow Brow Gel and Glossier Boy Brow.

I love bronzer and use it either with or instead of blush a lot of the time. This is just one paired down look that’s universally flattering in my experience. You can definitely add to it!

The blush definitely could’ve been blended better on that one cheek and it’s a monochromatic look for sure! I’ll often just use blush or bronzer on my eyes for a quick pop of color.

Yeah, it’s a great product if you find a color that works for you, which takes some experimenting in my experience!

They don’t last very long on me, but others have commented that they last all day for them!

You bring up an excellent point that I forgot to mention in the video! Due to the oils solidifying, the first time you use Miracle Balm, you have to soften the top layer. Jones Road does demonstrate and encourage "breaking the top," as you mentioned, but I prefer to just warm it up with my fingers. If you rub them around them product with a little pressure until it warms up, it does the same thing without making it all chunky. And as long as you're getting color payoff and it's not patchy, I'd say it's being applied correctly. Thanks for commenting!

You're so welcome! The Miracle Balm is definitely not a long wearing product, but the more you apply the longer it will last and if you have one of the shades with more pigment, it should seem longer wearing too. The Lippie Stick wears as long as a typical creamy lipstick would. If you eat, drink, or lick your lips a lot it will come off. I still think it's a good option for a quick hydrating lip product with a hint of color! If you want something longer wearing, I have reviews of Wonderskin's Lip Masque that you can check out. It's specifically advertised as long wearing and for some people lasts all day long (I get about 2-4 hours out of it). I hope this helps. Thanks again for watching and for the feedback!

You're absolutely right, it's hard to get off of your fingers when you use "peel and reveal" removal method - presumably because fingers are more dry than other skin. Question: are you saturating the paper towel with water when you try to remove it? I haven't had any issues there, but it takes a few swipes and adequate water! I'll be doing a comparison of their red shades in the upcoming weeks which I'm excited about. Divine is one of my favorite colors and I'm curious if their other reds are different, or if they look similar like some of their mid-toned shades. We'll see!

The shade with the bluest undertones that I personally own is “Darling.” It’s the last one that I try in this video and also the one in the thumbnail. I hope this helps!

Yeah, in my experience it’s pretty unpredictable as well. Beautiful and XoXo look the most similar to their online depictions out of the shades that I have. Otherwise, it’s a big ol’ surprise lol. That’s nice that they last longer for you though! They average about two hours for me.

Thanks for sharing! I’ll make a note of the stain that you mentioned and the application tips with it. I’ve tried leaving the masque on for long periods of time and also doing multiple layers of it. In my experience it has a similar result. The only thing is that once the masque dries, I think it stops depositing color. So another layer could be helpful if someone wanted to darken the color after letting the masque sit on long enough to dry. If that makes sense lol.

I love the color of Divine on their website too, but it's definitely more of a brick red on me. I still like the color. It's really bright as opposed to being a dull looking brick red, especially with the gloss over the top of it and if you do two layers of the masque. I just looked at Lovely on their website and would be surprised if it doesn't pull orange, especially if that tends to happen on you anyway. I'm not sure what their return or exchange policy is, but maybe there's flexibility if you're not happy with it. There are a bunch of factors that influence why some lipsticks look more orange - ranging from skin color, hair color, natural lip color, the tones of the rest of your makeup. I'll add that to my list of videos to make and appreciate the question! I'd love to hear how the shades you bought turn out - especially Bella! I almost got that one. Also, what's the third color that you got in lieu of Divine? I think there was a mistype!

You’re welcome. And yeah, same. If there’re any dry patches or deep lines on the lip, it’ll gather and get darker there. Even if I exfoliate. I’m not sure if it’s even feasible for a stain to not do that though. It’s no different than how wood stains darken on more rough and porous parts of the grain. Thats one advantage of just applying a layer of something on top of your skin vs staining it, but then you don’t get the lightweight feel and transfer resistance.

I do experience some tingling or mild burning, mostly with the spray activator.

“A really hard formula nut to crack,” made me laugh 🤣 Some people say that they last all day on them. I wish they did on me. I just ordered more colors to compare. Maybe certain shades last longer. I’ll have to do some tests. What other stain brands have you tried?

@roniannmears I tried a lot of the drugstore options back in the 2010s where everything would stain your lips neon fuchsia after the top layer wore off 😂 things like benetint never really stained and were too dry to wear alone, and maybe I got a dud of a color but the saechu peel off lip stain imparted almost zero color even leaving on the max time. I have been pleasantly surprised with sushy glow bloody tints, they're not advertised as stains but they have a very thin texture that looks more like a stain but isn't as drying, but they do transfer a bit. if I don't blot them at all, they hold up well with drinking and snacks but do wear away with a meal. part of my main draw to a stain is not having any extra texture on my lips so I can see my actual lip texture shine and those do better with that than I expected. I kinda think maybe what marketing promises with stains just not really possible, ha

Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to make a note of Sushy Glow and give that a try. I agree that a stain alone with no moisture isn’t very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. And also, that marketing promises probably aren’t perfectly attainable with stains, or other cosmetics for that matter. There’s generally pros and cons, and sacrifices that have to be made with all formulations. Such is life lol!
