So... i appreciate the use of magnets to hold it clsed and have been considering it for myself but am not sure how you keep stuff from sticking to the outside of the sheath and scratching it up. My thought was to put some rough out boot leather over the magnet incorporated into the design to hold stuff temporarily while working.
Parabéns pela explicação!
Im glad you like it but damn, looks like a paddle...
Thank you! This really helped me to understand how the process works.
Great help for me as I am just starting out

Very bad audio
I've been wanting this since 2013.
where did you get that edge rounding template? TIA
Thanks ✌️. I melt the ends with a small soldering iron. Much neater and precise.
Thank you! I finally understand it!
This is going to make re-stitching my replica belt strap so much easier, wow. Thank you for this visual.
With billhooks and ram daos, sheath from the spine ☝️
Fantastically clear demonstration. I'm glad I saw this before I attempted it because I would've been doing it wrong.
OLD Leather Smith here, nice job, I use a maul, or a drill press works great. Suggestion,s, liquid dish soap in your spray makes it easier 2 accept the d impression snd if you would tape the back of the project the leather won't spread and you will get a chrisper impression. I do yhis myself and have found it works better. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
This is the best explanation I have seen.Bravo
Nice! My maiden name is Bentley!!
Amazing! Thank you😊
Yours is the ONLY video I’ve ever seen where someone stitches toward themselves.
I really enjoyed your video. I was confident enough to try and succeed at making a leather weight bag to hold small projects while tooling. I'm going to take the next step at making a credit card wallet now that I understand what's actually going on with this style of stitching. Thank You for Your Time and Help with this!!
Thank you so much you I’m a visual person and this helps me so much I try saddle Stich yesterday and it came out horrible, one thing I learned it’s make your Stich home big enough my needle tread came off more then once but it was my first pouch.practice.practice.👍🏻from Germany!
excellent thank you
I wonder what is the fight thickness od leather for book mark?
This stitch has been around for centuries.
U might have very good advise but who can hear it?
Thank you for the refresher course!
Thank you ! This is the best video on saddle stitching that I've seen.
Great teaching !!
Great video for use newbies, thank you so much !
This is the only tutorial that I thoroughly understood, the coloured thread and acrylic template made it easy to actually understand what im trying to do, thank you, subbed!
This is a perfect demenstation! Thank you so much!
It's about time that I found a tutorial using two different colored threads for clarity!!! I was thinking that SOMEONE would at least have enough sense to use colored felt tip markers on the threads , just behind the needles, but YOUR idea is even better. And THEN you go ahead with the clear acrylic block! Terrific! Thanks!
Seriously. These enhancements make it SO much more helpful than any of the other videos I've seen.
What a painful demonstration
Mate, you are an absolute genius for making this process visible! Thank you.
Your volume is really low on all the videos in this playlist.
Absolutely the best tutorial on the saddle stitch. The plexiglass jig is the best. Thanks.
By far the best of these tutorials out there.
I've been watching videos about stiching but none of them printed the idea on my mind like this one. You are a very didactical teacher. THANKS
Perfect video !!! 👍
Nice and simple.
This was so helpful. Great idea!!
Best saddle stitching demonstration I've seen so far ..Thanks! just finished my first project with you.
Thank you for going to so much trouble!
Thank you very much for doing this. I'm planing to do some leatherworking and wanted to learn more about the saddle stitch. Showing it inside as well as on the sidesmade it much easier to see what was going on.
Absolute Genius. I’m a newbie and this is the best tutorial on saddle stitching I have seen. And I’ve watched 100’s. Thank you
Brilliant
Thank you for showing clearly the stitch, great idea using acrylic, so the stitch is visible inside. As a totally new beginner it was very helpful.
Brilliant video, thank you! 👍
This is by far the best and the coolest saddle stitch video I have ever seen. Thank you kind Sir!!!
Please do more videos on several different stitches I'm really interested to learn all the stitches for all different types of projects
