Whatever anyone says of the problems of the Isle of Wight one indisputable fact is that it is an absolutely beautiful place, I've lived here 6 years and on a day to day basis it can be frustrating to live here...and then you get a day like this...and you will be hard pressed to find anywhere more beautiful, the truth is West Wight is by far the best place on the island for views, to live, atmos...
Ryde Isle of Wight Pride Sunday.
Просмотров 25310 дней назад
This video was shot on the Sunday of Isle of Wight Pride, unfortunately there were very little Pride events to see unless you wanted to pay over £10 to sit in an arena with a few others paying a fortune for a drink or a portion of chips, especially when you could sit outside on the beach and watch it for free. Anyway it was a nice day and had a nice drone flight around the area itself. Ryde is ...

This beautiful peaceful Norman church close to the centre of the Island is well worth a visit, refreshingly this church is open everyday so you can pop in anytime. stolaves.church/index.php
St Mildreds Church Whippingham Isle of Wight..Queen Victorias island church.

A visit to this stunning church is a must for anyone interested in our Royal family or indeed just beautiful architecture. The inside of the church is one of the best I have ever seen anywhere and the popularity with visitors is unending. There is a beautiful tearoom where you can relax before or after a visit. Plenty of parking but the church welcomes coaches so if you get there and you see on...
St Blasius church in Shanklin Isle of Wight

The medieval St Blasius church in Shanklin is beautifully situated just outside the old village on the right towards Ventnor, there is a public car park very close by, lovely duck pond, and large fields and playground very nearby, it is well worth a visit and has some fascinating history, best time to go is in the spring, st-blasius-church.org.uk/history/history.html
Brook chine and cottages, Isle of Wight

An unspoiled beach of golden sand adjacent to the popular Compton Bay with rugged coastline and stunning views. Brook beach is a great beach for many activities either on the beach or in the water and is very popular with kite surfers. A great places for swimming although rocky in places so worth an investment in some good water shoes. Brook beach is a must for those fossil hunters and dinosaur...
A drive along Military road from Compton to Freshwater
Просмотров 1382 месяца назад
One of the nicest roads in the UK running 15 miles from Niton to Freshwater, but there is a real fear that the road may not survive in its current state for much longer..the possibility of it collapsing into the sea is a reality, there is plenty of talk and energy on the island to get someone who can do something to actually do it but as usual no one seems to get off their backsides and if you ...
Naturist beach at Blackgang... mini 4 pro

I've been wanting to visit this beach for a few years now and not being from the island I never got to find the way down as a kid, now as an old fart I finally found the time and inclination to make the effort, and boy what an effort, parking up at the old Blackgang road is where most people start and be prepared for an adventure because that's what it is, there is no official way down so you j...
Ahhh , Freshwater is the best !!! Greetings from Germany
💞Wow💞💜💜💜💜🤍💜💜💜
I'm just glad I enjoyed my regular Sunday on Shanklin beach today . 😊
Lovely footage Phil. Was this the Air 3?
Yes Kev..should have used waypoints though..as usual I didn’t have a lot of time.
Wow, been to the island so many times but never to this part. We intend to move there in a couple of years, seeing this makes us want to get on with it even more. Thanks for posting it.
Feel free to watch my other island videos..I don’t tend to do the touristy spots.
Lovely church and the green hued windows especially striking 🙏
You can say yards again now were not part of the EU anymore 😅😅😅
Wow, there’s a Brexit benefit…🤪
And Leeson Road in Ventnor is closed. Crazy.
Great vid mate,loved it.
It was a brilliant drone show and made even better with the commentary. Glad you had a great time.
All done by drones l can't even fly 1
Beautiful.
That was so lovely to watch.
Beautiful place. Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍2
Just stumbled on this video Lovely Thank you
Absolutely no sign now of the huge reinforced concrete structure that was built across the chine in ww2
Greg page love 🟡💛☀️👍🐒
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍3
Brook Chine is always very relaxing when the tide is out. I must pay it another visit this year.
My favourite driving road on the island, if not the UK! Such a shame it risks disappearing. I live on the mainland, but holiday on the island as often as we can (this year will be 5 on the trot).......there's was proactive action to underpin the road a good few years ago, it's a shame there's such red tape in the way now. I sincerely hope this years isn't the last we can enjoy it in its current state. Keep up the great work on the videos, it gives me an IoW "fix" until our next visit :)
Stunning ❤️ love the beautiful Isle 🌊 thank you for sharing 😊
How do you pronounce the word "Chine"? It's not a word we use in Canada. Is it like ch-eye-n or chain?
Its like 'shine'
@@philsheath Thanks!
magical
such a beautiful video, a seagulls view, thankyou
I don't believe I've been down these steps - the one I've done was in Ventnor. Looks like those steps (slabs) are the very seems ones that are shown in the postcards from the early 1900s. I must put this on my 'to do' list. Absolutely splendid drone footage of Bonchurch.
Beautiful footage and music Phil. I will be brave enough to do that flight someday.
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍2
Very interesting, thanks
🇮🇪 brilliant video very nice
It won’t be long before this whole stretch of coastline will not be accessible from the road due to erosion. That will be a shame as it is the only part of the island that is still natural and beautiful. Always my favourite place to go when the buses are running.
Lovely clear video footage. 👍👍👍 Unless this winter weather has put pay to the route down to the beach, you get there from the Old Blackgang Road car park. It's the 3rd turning on the left after the Buddle Inn. You do need to be able bodied. It takes about 10 mins to walk down. Beautiful secluded beach.
Very nice presentation of those bits of Bonchurch. End of loverly drone footage gives a good perspective of how the new land slip has changed that adjacent area. Great work.
Many thanks!
Beautiful drone footage please 🙏 follow me 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍4
They look lovely. But I wonder if larger people can comfortably walk down them. It looks like they have been they're a long time. A few look quite dangerous as they're broken
As mentioned in the previous comments the maze is precariously near a deep overhang and looks really unsafe!
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. subbed & 👍11
PLEASE PUT SOME STEPS BACK !!!!!!!!!!
Used to be my favourite beach to visit - when there were steps to get you there... so sad it's inaccessable now.
Marvellous! This just shows the sheer depth of this chine which seems to have got bigger over the years. No sign of the broken steps now so the council must have removed them for safety reasons. You can see the path closed sign and the start of the path on the left at 0:15 / 1:01.
At 1:09 you can see the path and the old rope handrail to the bottom. I went down 3 years ago..nearly died lol
I went down with a friend about the same time - maybe 2022 - but it was a right scramble and I was VERY UNBALANCED due to my rucksack and camera!!! I seem to recall someone had provided a rope but it wasn't much use. It's a fair walk to get back up from anywhere else too (Rocken End going east or Shepherd's Chine going west). With the current state of affairs down there any replacement steps would be futile as they would collapse in a few weeks.
Beautiful video. Looks like somewhere abroad
Apparently Seven Sisters' Road (said to have been named after a group of elm trees planted by a man in memory of his seven daughters).
What happened to his daughters
It was dry when I walked through last September.
OMG! The path in Area 5 is close now and the maze I don't think will be open all season if we carry on with the amount of rain! That is really bad that side of the park
Marvelous stuff. Thanks for uploading this. Starting off with a birds-eye view of Rumpus Mansion - previously known as Rockside Cottage and Five Rocks. You can easily see the old Blackgang Tap (later The Ship Ashore); and the original building of the Blackgang Hotel @ 1:02 - now flanked by canopies on each side. I wouldn't recommend going in that maze! Easy to see that quite a bit more 'blue slipper' clay has overspilt on the beach. You can also see little streams forming because of all the rain. 1:47 - there's definitely an overhang here south of the maze. The sheer weight of it could force it down at any time.🙁
Enjoyed watching your video and the cool quick shot features of your drone. I must try those with mine. I've added your channel, it's always good to connect with other drone pilots and creators.👍
Very nice drone footage please 🙏 follow me 🙏🙏
Great video Phil. Impressive flight under the pier.
Thanks Kev..was up early for this...fed up with this no fly weather!
Nicely done
Omg that is amazing footage..sad 😢
