Big Block 1970 Chevelle Cold Start with SLP Loudmouth 1
Here's a little cold start video of my 70 Chevelle with a 468 BBC. Its got Hooker headers to 3" straight pipes with SLP Loudmouth 1 resonators. Had to back the camera up this far because the audio kept cutting out. Still might need to back it up a bit more but you get the idea. It had flowmaster super 44s on it but I wanted something different and obnoxious.

This is my 1970 Chevelle. Its got a high compression 468 big block chevy in it with a cam from CompCams. The exhaust is a set of Hooker long tube headers with straight pipes to SLP Loudmouth 1 resonators. I wanted something different than what everyone else had and this is how it turned out. Enjoy!

No X pipe or anything fancy, just 1 3/4 primaries to 3.5” collectors to straight 3” all the way back
@@calemolloy8441 hell yeah man sounds killer. Loved the other video haha I’m also shooting for the loudest most obnoxious sound I can get. I have a built 396 I’m building for my 71. I also run the loudmouth 1’s on my 2011 Camaro they are killer

Not sure about the exhaust. I'm sure it sounds much better in person. Points for being different rather than going with Flowmasters

I was looking for a unique BBC and i found it! Cool video. I suspect you might pick up some power by adding a crossover pipe. You can almost see the separated pulses out each side when its idling. Sounds sick though

SLP, sounds terrible on any LS car sounds terrible on anything, get some magnaflow magnapacks...
They make the car drivable. They don't attenuate a lot, but they remove the drone. Maggies are loud too, but you get a splitting headache.

@Coronet_shop not off the top of my head but it’s SLP’s shotgun resonator 3” in/out
@@calemolloy8441 much appreciated seen two on summit shotgun race style which is 3” and the other is 2.5” bullet style I’ll figure it out
What cam specs are you running ?
It’s a Comp solid flat tappet cam and the lift is .635/.637 with a duration of 262/270 @ .050

This would like a lighter flywheel or smaller converter. Less inertia on start-up. And then raise the idle 100 rpm.
