Same here, brother. That documentary broke me apart. Bipolar untreated is a disaster waiting to happen. And my 11 years of drug addiction was slowly killing me. It was basically an extended suicide plan, and my lack of stability due to bipolar was a huge driving factor behind the drug use. Somewhere between 60 and 70 percent of folks with BP will have a drug/alcohol problem. Sad statistics! Stay safe, my friend. It gets better one day at a time. Glad you are taking your meds now.
I live in Chicago and never once surfed but I've always liked it for some reason. I've never heard of Andy until recently but he seems like a cool ass guy. I've been watching all his highlights and interviews. Hope he's catching waves in heaven 🤙🙏 I also have a problem with drugs and its gotten better these last few years for me.
