Alexa’s first ride on Oakley. She was a little unsure at first and by the end was doing it. Both hands on reins relaxed. This is the first child that has been on him and as you can see he was like Eeyore. 🫏
Yep he is a 4 year old cowbred reining/ranch horse.🐴

After the first injury to the left leg August 2020 she stuck a piece of steel fence just above the cornet band. Then October 2020 she was kicked in the fetlock requiring substantial stitches. Honey is rehabbing from back to back injuries and surgery. She first injured herself in 8/20, was kicked in the fetlock of the same leg 10/20 and then surgery in 11/20 to remove a bone chip. It’s been a rough ride but we are getting there. I left the background noise because it’s pretty remarkable if you know Honey that she is thus calm and quiet.
