    I own separate lots, a lil more than an acre each. This is a whole lot of GREED! Very ugly! You want $6k just for a frickin permit and then we can live in an RV on our own land? WTF! The "Impact" fee, yeah it impacts our wallets, and of course yours gets nicely filled up with all those dollars! This is just plain sickening!

    I need to clarify something. I first saw this on a next door app one of the neighborhood Nazis trying to get us thrown off our land and submitting complaints to the county name Jimmy Nordstrom posted it on his next door profile I just happened to see it I wasn't looking for it. When I opened up a link and lo and behold my property is in the photo. I almost lost my ability to breathe. He did not have my permission to post on a social media app put my properties photo on there. I do understand it's still a free country and you can post almost anything you like but when I saw my property on there I got a little protective of my privacy. I moved out here so I could have privacy have no neighbors and not be bothered by anyone. But it turns out that there's people out to get us because we're not able to have the same type of homes that they are with the same infrastructure that they do. And I feel like they are out to get us they are out for blood and will stop at nothing. The county claims they don't bother anyone out here unless there is a complaint. There's a group that are complaining and I feel as if I'm being stalked and harassed by these people we have a list of names of who they are. They send complaints anonymously but then talk about the riff Raff and getting rid of them right on social media and their names are attached to their comments. They somehow think that the people that are off grade are going to bring down their property values. Possibly if you lived in a gated community and you were literally surrounded by off gridders who don't have pride of ownership. Even though I am an off-grid ER I certainly don't want anyone that doesn't take care of their property and trashes it living next to me. My place is in trash and I probably live 3 to 4 MI from the closest homeowner that has water that has electric that has their infrastructure already in place. None of us have that same infrastructure available to us. Make it available to us and I will gladly pay higher taxes and would love to pay the $9,600 impact fee that is actually illegal. I have every intention of building a small house but living on a fixed income makes it a little difficult to save my pennies and actually get it built in a very short period of time. If anyone wants to donate money or donate their time to hasten the build I will gladly accept the help and help you out in whatever it is you may need. But don't be ugly and single me out. If you saw me at the store what's my 2-year-old grandson would you spit on me because you think I'm riff Raff for an off grider not living up to your standards?

  • @katalinpecora9571
    @katalinpecora9571 6 дней назад

    Ha impact fee was 7600 it is now 9600. Most of the people that have set up a place to live for themselves are on social security disability or are retired or collect a small pension. They went after one of the men that lived here that was in his 80s a retired vet that was living in a beautiful RV the one inspector harassed him so much he ended up having a stroke. How is that being a good neighbor reporting someone that is living in his RV that can move any time he was not bothering anyone.

      I can second this story. I sold his land for him after he was forced to move.

    • @katalinpecora9571
      @katalinpecora9571 6 дней назад

      You also sold the property of that nice young couple who were harassed to the point of moving to Texas. I bought the property in a bundle of 3, sold it to them and I believe they sold it for over 21k. How did that lower the property value when they perhaps Made the 14,000 profit on it. The county chased them off they were both engineers not stupid people or riff Raff.

    And one last thing ... As far as the Environmental Impact Fee, The Supreme Court says it is Unconstitutional: Sheetz v. County of El Dorado, California (U.S., Apr. 12, 2024, No. 22-1074) Introduction The US Supreme Court’s decision in Sheetz v. County of El Dorado limits local agency exaction of legislatively enacted impact fees. In a unanimous opinion, the Court held that the “Nollan/Dolan” criteria of an “essential nexus” to the government’s land use interest and “rough proportionality” to the proposed development’s impact applies not just to administrative permit conditions but also to legislatively enacted permit conditions. Noncompliant conditions and fee exactions are unconstitutional under the Takings Clause of the Fifth Amendment.

    At 2:32 this man is noticeably unsure what to say. He says it kind of got away from us. Yes unfortunately for the people who have set up a nice homestead and are contributing to the economy in 3 points area. I am not trashing or taking anything away from diamond Bell ranch. My venture has been an enhancement to the area. People have stopped to talk to me telling me how nice my place is and wish that they could do the same. Anyone that I invite on to my property tells meely it is and how everything is organized and well taken care of and how was I able to accomplish such a feat. And then these horrid wicked people come along and report my property as being egregious I'd like to know how they came to that opinion. Is it because I have a fenced off and you can't be a looky Lou or a rubber necker? Whatever happened to the green New deal everyone should be able to have a little impact on the Earth. They encourage solar. It's a bunch of lies.

    Chris, targeting us like this, calling us a problem, without addressing the questionable legality of the zoning in the first place constitutes harassment. But since you are here, how about answering a few things ... Why wont the county provide the original re-zoning records to us? Why are you ignoring the time limit laws? You claim they dont apply because they were not in effect in 1969 when the land was re-zoned. But that is not entirely true. The law that the County followed in 1969 was a Federal law that AZ adopted in 1925. While it does not give a specific time limit, it does provide protections for property owners and allow for a reversal when the terms of the re-zoning were not met. WHY IS THE COUNTY HARASSING PEACEFUL PROPERTY OWNERS WITH BOGUS CLAIMS THAT WE ARE VIOLATING THE LAW WHEN IT IS THE COUNTY THAT IS IN VIOLATION OF STATE LAW? The laws since 1925 has been very clear with its intent that zoning which suppresses property values is ILLEGAL. And that is exactly what CR-1 Zoning does when in a place with no power or water. No one in their right mind is going to pay more money to build house (with the costs of solar and water storage and so on) than those who have power and water, when that house will NEVER be worth as much as those with power and water. That type of property value suppression has been illegal since 1925 and the County needs to fix this problem it created. We are not the violators ... You are.

    They left the people who are living off grid out of that meeting they had with Sylvia Lee which is playing favoritism all of diamond belt should have been invited to this meeting so we would have all had a chance to contribute. The original developer Mort Freeman is 1.7 million in back taxes delinquent. The development was never completed we are about 2 or 3 mi away from the homes. We are not bothering anyone. Perhaps some of the squatters are but I'm certainly not.

  • @katalinpecora9571
    @katalinpecora9571 6 дней назад

    I said that wrong I don't have a home here yet. What I should have said was of my property. Which has no infrastructure whatsoever we have to have our water delivered and we have no utilities here no electric there's never going to be electric I was told it was $450,000 to bring electric to one property. Who is going to do that most of the people that are living out here off-grid are on a fixed income. They are going to use me as an example of what they're going to do they're going to throw me off my property. It's really quite upsetting do not know what's going to happen to you. Squatters seem to have more rights than the property owners.

  • @katalinpecora9571
    @katalinpecora9571 6 дней назад

    The County supervisor met with I believe 73 of the actual homeowners that have infrastructure that have electric and water to their property which we don't have and she told them to pick the most egregious ones egregious means the bad ones like bad like like doing things like having garbage on their property or trash on their property which my property does not have. Yet they pick me as an egregious one and the county is now suing me and saying that I have to get everything off my property within 2 days. How do I do that I'm 65 years old I am a disabled woman I moved out here for peace and quiet I have had people drive by and take pictures of my home I don't trust anyone. What are they going to do next throw Molotov cocktails in on my property
