for anyone who wants the step by step that isnt so confusing: (youre welcome) row 1: 6 single crochet into a magic loop and pull closed but leave a small gap for the lights. slip stitch to connect and chain 1 (add a stitch marker) row 2: increase in each stitch until you hit the stitch marker, slip stitch and chain 1 row 3: 1 single crochet, 1 increase until stitch marker, slip stitch chain 1. rows 4-7: single crochet all around making sure to slip stitch and chain 1. you can make them as tall as you want thats just what they did in the video row 8: slip stitch, chain 1, stitch marker. 1 single crochet, 1 a (hook into the stitch, wool over and pull through, go into next stitch wool overand pull through, wool over and pull through all three loops on hook) alternating until stitch marker. row 9: slip stitch, chain 1. single crochet into the stitch that you slip stitched into, into same stitch half double crochet and double crochet. double crochet into next stitch, in same stitch half double crochet and single crochet. single crochet into next stitch, half double crochet and double crochet into same and repeat until you get back to the start. slip stitch, finish and your done. hope this helped
