Today was probably one of my most pathetic days of railfaning yet. As I only caught two Amtraks and one CSX local. However, its still something right? In the begining of the video, you will see train 80 departing the station (I rode this train from Raleigh). Thanks for watching!!

I spent the day railfaning around Rocky Mount at the end of June. I was pleased by the numerous CSX and Amtrak trains I caught. The highlight of the day was catching my first ever Phase 7 P42! I took a trip down to Kanapolis NC to film some of the action there. Aside from the usual Amtrak trains, I caught several NS freights! I spent the day railfaning around the West Durham area near the Eno River. The change of scenery made for some really nice shots of the NC Amtrak trains. I set out on my local line to see what was running. I only caught Amtrak trains. I could have gotten the CSX Local that went through before 92 but that train snuck up on me because my scanner was not picking up the train calling signals north of the station. Thanks for watching! I decided to visit Rocky Mount, a place I had not been in a while. I rode Amtrak 80 from RGH to RMT to railfan. I was able to get off trrain 80 in time to film them departing. Hey everyone. I made the trip down to Selma today to see what I could find. I was pleasntly suprised by the action. I caught a total of 10 trains; 5 of them which were freights. Today I spent the day railfaning at the Cary Amtrak station. All the trains were Amtrak except for the one NS freight that I almost missed because the signal was red as it was approaching only to turn green as soon as I left my spot. Ever since the car burning incident in Durham, P42s have been leading several Peidmont trains. 74 brought home two P42s! Way to much power lol! Thanks for watching...

Today I made the trip down to Selma since I had not foamed their in awhile. I was satisfied with the amount of action I got. Great video, I believe I saw you filming that Amtrak I was a little past the crossing by the church filming as well. I also filmed an L619 and an L620 cross paths with each other in Apex which was nice as well. I have been wanting to get out to find more places to railfan in NC but I need some channel frequencies for other trains such as NS and CSX for towns such as Greensboro, Rocky Mount, or Selma especially since there are many more trains that go through those towns than Apex. If you have the frequencies outside of the town of Apex for other trains could you provide them please? Thank you!
