I like her music and she is a great person, but her brother, the producer of this video should have given his cinematography approach here a rethink. I don't think a video that looks like it was shot in the dark on top of the grainy low res approach and low fstop to only capture spotlighted individuals was the way to go here. Any spot from behind caused tons of over exposure and you essentially hid the star of the show (your sister) in this soup of over and under exposure with very little in between. Maybe it was designed this way to cover any lip sync action to keep it aligned, not sure. Keeping the crowd shots in the near dark also was successful at showing just how small the venue was, but the shots and editing towards the stage were trying to emulate her performing in some massive stadium or arena. This video kind of baffles me because much is/was invested in her music productions and the few music videos she did, but this one seems to have needed a do over from the start. Perhaps they didn't have the dough and had to meet a contractual obligation for another album. (Live or greatest hits albums are typical to meet a contract on the cheap). Again, not knocking the artist, just being a bit critical of the video creator's concept.
