Captain Obvious. Of course they aren't "Magical". They're just trying to take your money
Well there's a reason why
care to explain?
@erikaj4655 Open your eyes. If you don't see it then you never will. It's not hard to figure out. You're either blind, playing dumb or you really are dumb and if that's the case then go talk to family member that can give you the simple explanation for that mushy brain inside your skull.
There’s no such thing as race. It’s a term no longer useful because it is known that the human race is the only race regardless of skin tone. If there is a problem with Romani culture then you’re more of a culturalist or something. But it’s not a race any more than Islam is a race. Because… there is only one race of human beings on this planet. Full stop.
Charlie Chaplin, Pablo Picasso, Rita Hayworth, Michael Caine etc. share a common ancestry -- Romani, or Indian.
I met him in Denver. Cool dude
There's two sides to every story, are you going to interview a neighbor to allow them to say their peace? The Vernons conduct a very one-sided, public soapbox campaign.
it' a valid point, thank you for raising it. I considered it. But after doing a little research on the neighbor who is leading the charge against the Vernons, I decided he wasn't somebody I felt comfortable talking to for this podcast. During the interview, I tried to raise a counterpoint or two just to give some kind of representation to that side.
@@TroyFarkasI feel like they never directly acknowledge the issue of loud music *every* Fri and Sat (and sun?) through the season and I listened hoping to hear their perspective on it. Farm or not, we all have neighbors we need to manage our relationships with. When they say neighbors are complaining, people think of tractors and chickens when really it is 150+ people attending a full-on concert every weekend in a residential/agricultural space. I am following the case as I really cringe at what legal precedents they may end up setting, restricting other farms in the future due to their pushing boundaries.
Is it really any different than concerts in a residential park? When the legal complaints against the farm include forcing the farm to only sell goods they produce in their store (instead of saying hosting a local orchards apples too as well as their own goods) sounds like the neighbors problems are absolutely routed in the small group concerts that play to help with agro-tourism and promoting local bands or groups as well as local agriculture. @@MommyUP
You had enough money to buy thar fagrag on your head
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Thank you my Lord God In Christ Jesus's name Amen"
And today my folks we present you a delusional lying woman:
Date women if you need that.
“We keep to our own kind and don’t mix with people who aren’t like us”. Hmmm…sounds like racism
No, they just don't LIKE hearing LIKE so much.
She doesnt know this but there is chemical component in men's tear that causes intense dryness in the vaginal region
I was going out with a girl for months, we got along great, and everything was working out. Then my brother died, and i got a bit emotional about it. That was the first time she had ever seen me depressed about something. She said that she wanted to just be friends after that. This is why men don't open up. When we do, we are treated like we are weak, and it's usually not other men who treat us that way. It's usually a woman who we thought we could trust. When you tell men that they can open up, respectfully, I think you have no idea what you are talking about.
Did you also have that experience with other partners?
@cori7829 of course not. Why would I open up again when the last time it happened, I got treated that way? Most men have had this happen. It's why we have to solve our own problems and keep it to ourselves when something is wrong. I did end up seeing a therapist so I could have someone to talk to. I also have good friends to talk to if something is bothering me, but I learned that most women will leave you if you aren't strong in tough times. I know it's not all off them, but it's too risky to chance it.
Nope
Yeah no, don’t cry in front of people
Go ahead and cry in front of your girl wont be long before she'll leave you. Women think that they want to see that from you but when you do it they lose all respect.
We know how, we've just been burned in the past for doing it. By men and women alike. People look at you differently when you let the mask slip.
It’s a trap!!!! It’s a lie!!!! They will use the information against you!!!
No it's not ok
It is. Everyone has emotions and they need to be expressed otherwise it can lead to mental health complications. Men who talk about their feelings are braver than those who don't.
@@muichuriSo men who stay single their entire life are braver? I guess you could say that but who'd willingly refuse to ever have a relationship again
@x.Lion.x when did I say that? If someone can't handle their partner crying, they aren't ready for a relationship PERIOD. Emotional intelligence goes both ways. Clearly, some people lack it, and that's OK as long as you work your way to become more emotionally intelligent. Women who can't handle seeing men cry aren't women. They're immature girls.
@@muichuri So according to you most women aren't ready for a relationship and immature girls, what my comment was talking about was the fate of people actually following your comment
@x.Lion.x that's unfortunate, but instead of wallowing in the pity of our failed society, why don't we become the people we want in our lives? Everyone wants an emotionally intelligent partner, so to have an emotionally independent partner, you have to be emotionally intelligent yourself. The more we encourage this, the more our emotions will be normalised.
Peace and love for all❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
PS hopefully the popularity of DNA testing will make many more people aware that they themselves may have Roma heritage 💛
Thank you to this young professor taking the time to educate people about her and her grandmother’s heritage . Most Americans who have studied any history and cultures do know about Roma, especially if you have lived overseas where Roma are more well known etc . But at the same time in our country many other people are pretty unaware of this minority group. Historically there was a separateness and mutual distrust between travelling and settled cultures because they had different perceptions of land use and were essentially outside of each others laws. Settled Roma and other groups often had to hide their identity and culture, from the crusades to the Inquisition all the way up to the Holocaust. This reinforced a separateness culture. I liked Jezmina’s explanation about survival adaptations and professions. I have heard about Roma kids being told to just say they were Italian or Jewish or Romanian rather than broach the subject of being “Gypsy” or Roma because people think the first name is just a storybook term or could have prejudices against it, and the second name is unknown to them. People respond with “what? Roman? Romanian?” Etc. I remember some good books on the subject, one was called the Hidden Americans or something along those lines. There seems to be a bit more cultural awareness and communication now. And even TV shows about Roma of course. Sad that there are always elements that will promote xenophobia and paranoia about minority groups and groups perceived as separate or that they don’t know about. The only remedy is education and communication so we can appreciate all our diverse heritage and cultures 💛Thanks again.

Pay gap isn't real
i get paid 12.25 / hour. just started working for the company. theres another new hire came in at the same time i did on the same shift. she gets paid 12.25. hoe math aint mathing up.
If he is a better worker
The Gender pay gap is a statistically created falsehood pushed on women and young girls. Men and woman are paid the same when they work the same hours, same training, same experience and same responsibilities. When you include things like Athletes is gets weird. For example US Women's Soccer makes 20% of the revenue pool generated by the sport but US Men's Soccer makes 7% of the revenue pool generated by the sport. Women on average earn more money on OnlyFans than Men.
So lie to your kids and make up statistics
Because men are better
False
Working in the center of consumerism really starts to hit you after a while. Retail… especially for brands that are constantly trying to make people come back and purchase every weekend with promos and events… really makes you feel like you’re taking away from peoples lives in the end.

I see them begging in front of stores, and when finished a brand new car picks them up. I’ve had them approach my car, and then begging me, and left in a car better than mines.
Vulnerable people are often exploited by criminals/ used for begging. They don’t get the money themselves. 🥲
Same as the sugar in fruits
Oh lord, here we go again!
Look up the TV Series Gypsy Sisters( follows Romani community through out West Virginia & other states). They literally check all of the stereotypical boxes of uneducated, welfare Queens, teen marriages & pregnancies, criminal activity, theft, scams, etc. They won't legally get married because that will cut off welfare benefits for them and their 3-15 kids. They admit this in the series.
I call B.S. on most of her "personal experiences," but she came in with a bias and left with the same. Please someone, explain why she fails to acknowledge her patriarchal lineage and chooses to only identify with one half of a half of her heritage. I can't imagine her father feels all that great being left out of her story. There's something hinky about that important omission. Also, why are there so many mixed heritage millenials and gen Z's, choosing to identify with only one half of their family tree, these days. I see so many racially biased "activists" on social media who magically managed to gain higher learning and degrees despite claiming to be a member of a persecuted class. Could it be something other than affirmative action at work here...say, like Daddy's hard earned money. I noted how quickly she diverted, almost apologetically, from the fact that she was raised in New Hampshire. Can't identify herself with a white middle class state, ya know, in case it minimises her Roma narrative. She was quick to insert the fact that she lived for a time in this mysterious "elsewhere" no details given, just left up to our imaginations. Was it some roma based land like India? Marrakesh? Romania? Egypt? or...just her alma mater state? Only the shadow knows. It was when she laughed at the fact that she? or her family? used italian and mexican identities to hide their roma identity that made me truly appalled. Isn't that misappropriating their identity to serve your needs? Isn't that outright deception to authority? I feel like this woman may be up-playing one side of her heritage for reasons unstated. I'm starting to wonder if she's actually contributing to the dreaded "gypsy" stereotype that she claims to want to dispel. Physician, heal thyself, and in the words of all you "virtuous" DEI race activists "do better."
@@rraefyn ?? What strange hostile comments. She talked about both sides of her family and said she had her one grandmother who was Roma that she was very close to. It’s very common for Americans to identify with one or another of their ancestral roots that they were raised knowing about or conversely not to know about any of them. Her comments were perfectly normal.
What the heck? Not any of your business? LOL
@@elkigirl123 Is that so...haha! You are aware that this is a public site...riiigght? That means she's made her business public and anyone is free to critique her claims. In fact, your response to my comment proves my claim. Enjoy!
@@elkigirl123 Hostile for questioning her narrative and motives...okees. I didn't infer her comments were "not normal," but possibly disingenuous, misleading or omissive. Identifying with only one half of your familial roots makes you look like a selective a-hole. As a person of mixed heritage I'd never even consider minimising either half of my parental heritage. Especially not to gain brownie points in the virtue olympics. That would be bigoted, cruel and disrespectful to both of my parents if I showed an obvious preference for one side of my lineage over the other. Why is that hard for you to grasp? Please, direct me to the point where this woman reveals what her fathers heritage actually is, because I must have missed it. She also laughingly, stated that when anyone queried about her family lineage she said that the "family," i.e: mom, dad, grandmother? would "pretend" to be of Italian or Mexican descent. Please enlighten me as to why any person would feel the need to lie about their ancestry, especially if the so called, persecuted side of her "roma" family was from a few gens back and most likely not noticeable in any distinctive way? It implies that they were ashamed of their actual heritage, which is at odds with her other comments.
She’s scamming everyone on RUclips in this video. Fact
1 gazzilion percent but, what can you do, they want to be scammed it appears.

Troy, your surname 'Farkas' means 'Wolf' in Hungarian? The speaker explained that her maternal side was Roma. She also said that she is 'mixed'. I would like to know what her 'paternal' side is. She is 'Roma' (Romani), mixed with what?
yup!
@@TroyFarkas You never answered the question that I was curious about too.
Wow, the discrimination is very similar to what black people experience...
If she didn’t mention she was a gypsy, I would have thought she was Latina, Native American, Northeast Asian or even Southeast Asian.
She LIED about the word gypsy meaning slave in Romanian. Tigan is a Romanian variant of the word gypsy. Not slave, that’s a completely DIFFERENT WORD. I don’t appreciate LIARS. That’s why they are so despised. Tuned out and moved on after 5minutes in. I don’t listen to LIARS.
Maybe she was misinformed. It’s possible to just offer a correction without hate.
@@elkigirl123 No hate was being directed at her whatsoever. Just pure expression of my zero tolerance for LIARS. Tigan means nomad not slave. It’s obvious to me that she’s running her mouth off a script with a hidden agenda to keep her victim card in tact so she can further propagate Marxist ideology. Sorry you are blind to that and are easily manipulated by drama queens like her. Hope I’ve enlightened you so you can stop deluding yourself and think you’re so virtuous when you’re just sulking about nothing. Have a nice day.
Because of people like her lying they are South Europeans, people think Italians are dark dark dark and non-European looking
She didn’t say she was South European. She said she was of mixed ancestry with a Roma grandmother who was from Germany.
