Flower Pressing for Your Nature Journal

We have used soapberries as shampoo in India since ancient times.
Hi Emilly. I recently bought this particular plant with my partner and a week later it has started to die down really bad, I am super worried about it. I just watched your video for information that will help us revive it. We are all the way in South Africa and as much as this is a country famous for heat if not the continent itself. We do have weather conditions that allow this plant to bloom and flourish. I will own up to the fact that the reason it's not doing so well is because of us. Maybe we lack a better understanding of how to take care of it. Therefore, this video was very much helpful, and we have taken your tips on how to go about reviving it. Rooting for you and all the knowledge you have shared with us, OfCourse considering the fact that we live in different parts of the world and therefore maybe your method may not work for us of which we hope it does. Thank you so much for the insight and we pray it works for us. 🙏
Can i grow them in zone 5? In Canada?
Thanks for the ideas of using grocery bags. I didn't need a hanger but I did need some planters tape. Strips of bags worked real well on my dragon plant. Thanks again
❤ so cute
It literally means Sap-soap and Indus-india Soap of India. In ancient India,it was extensively used and mustard , holy basil or TULSI, sandalwood , neem , other scented oils were added.. To wash the grease off even the ashes of sandalwood tree and neem were used
Wonderful explanation
Love all of your work and videos,Love those Glades ❤
I love his reaction!

@kmjs
very good, we can share knowledge, experience, discussion, so that the seed paper can be maximized and useful, I have made seed paper from the beginning and then planted and grew into plants
God bless the spirit of that little man! Amen ! ✝️
Loved hearing that natural spontaneous laughter!
I have a few resurrection ferns on a branch I found someone throwing away. Is there a preferred way to transplant them to other trees?
Simple, informative and sweet.

Thank you Chef Jack ❤
In Oklahoma they are highly irritant to the skin! Deer love to eat the berries. Berries are always gone as high as they can reach.
I didn’t know the soapberry turns ito soap very quickly 😮😮
Haha, he is so cute! "SOAP? WHAT?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tell me you’re a liberal without telling me you’re a liberal….

Plantains and bananas are both berries, which are a subclassification of fruit that have a fleshy soft interior that contain seeds. :) 🍌
BCE: before common era
Flowers should be pressed for 2 weeks minimum- but 3 weeks is ideal
💙💙💙💙
Is it safe to use the utensils for cooking food after using them to make paper ?
This grows all over the oaks at my grandfather’s place. Hands down my favorite plant.
❤️
Um my school told me to watch so here I ,m.
How stinking cute is he!!! Reminds me of my four-year-old 🤗I just ordered some laundry detergent made from soap berries and I’m pretty stoked! Thanks for your video!
So plantains is a type of banana?
Yes it is.
More like a very close cousin to the banana Think oranges and grapefruit
The clade of "bananas" contains plantains.
@@Mugen_YG Yeah, but the bagged chips we usually have, even the unsalted ones, don't really have the usually strong banana flavour and smell, which made me think like: is this really banana?????
This is gr8!
