the actual gameplay (real days) some gameplay only runs in 1-3 hours.. also not doing speedrun so yeah.. it is kinda slow and late for a standard game progress...

Listen mrtickle you just havent played the best viking simulator of all time, its a mix of dark souls, terraria, and breath of the wild like you need to sit down and play it for 10 hours then give your take but literally chill theres way worse games out there and youre hating for no reason

yeah graphics is not highly detailed, but it is procedurally generated and a sandbox type of survival game.. still fun to play and has better value in replayability compared to other games..

@@MrTickles445 It's not about the graphics, they're supposed to look like that. It's just the art style and I think its nice and relaxing. Look at something like Borderlands, Wolfenstein or Metro games, they all have their own unique visual style. This game wouldn't feel right if it had ultra realistic visuals, a common problem with many modern games is that they try to hard to make them look realistic so they end up losing the charm.

I made it.. with AI for various base concept and color theme.. then enhances it and added/replace other elements to fit.

oh yeah haha sorry actuals gameplay days.. not valheim days.. maybe next run I will rather use the valheim day counter instead...

still trying to lessen death counts.. maybe on next playthrough I can try hardcore mode... as I already encountered enemies strength and weaknesses..also now I have good idea where and when to get gear faster..

@@hardc0l2e yeah I hear you, dying a lot is bound to happen, I’ve lost so many skill levels from trying to learn the combat in this game, watch out for the next few biomes haha(NO SPOILERS)

I don't mind dying...I used to play Elden Ring and Dark Souls.. and boss in Valheim has enough challenge as well.. not soul-like level but good enough to be prepared.

too early for me to conclude, still exploring and learning new things about the game. But so far, it's kinda mixed.

Hopeful for huge improvement with Dragon's Dogma 2. I am playing that one too..

It is ok, still too early to make a comment a review-like discussion. But so far what I have are some quality-of-life things..like quest tracking is organic but feels dull, also kinda feel cringy, not quite immersive IMHO. The mechanics on how you fight huge monsters are cool, like climbing, grabbing etc. Leveling mechanics and the pawn is ok...just sometimes when they talk simultaneously is kinda weird.

I just use Zwei for versatility, I will try the STR first (early) then doing lightning/keen mid and late game will hybrid INT spellblade of sort. Also will crunch status build.. possible bleed+poison all via NG+0

I usually do normal standard runs.. till I think I gain skill with that specific weapon. Just for this run for example, I tried to fight without spirit ashes, which I usually do in NG+1 onward.

I am trying each weapon class.. right now checking all possible straight sword I can get..

I did, but I want to experiment other build too.. if ease of playing is what I after.. then mage acid bite just drops boss in one hit...

Nearly every creator I watch now uses AI art. . . It's getting annoying since, as you pointed out, most of the time the art looks nothing like the game.

on the AI thumbnail, it is quicker, I used to design thumbnails from photoop/screenshot for Elden Ring and prep composition for AC6 with matching bgm and stuff and it requires so much work just to start streaming and playing the game... even the titles and text, yeah I did messed up and due to copy-paste method. BTW I do traditional art and digital artwork and have few gig as concept artist... it is just using AI for quick thumbnails saves more time to actually play the game and have the playback available in raw format.

The only problem I've seen using AI is the trainer stealing artwork just to feed the AI prompts. But even during the pre-AI era, most designer/digital artist just overpaint artwork / matte paiting from another artist and claim it as their own concept/composition.
