Hi, Chris! For the controllers, I usually use the Logitech F310. In my opinion, I find that this controller to be compatible with pretty much everything, having less issues than the others.

Just get used to using the stick on the Atari controller, it's the best d-pad once you're used to it.

In Steam Atari 50, the VCS controller works with the wire connected and the controller in xbox mode. The spinner on the classic controller works with the wire connected and the controller in Atari mode.

As long as I am concerned, that's anothe xbox and that is also another xbox controller and even the xbox controller is another xbox controller. They are all the same.

Seems like the infrastructure for adding content is already in place. Don't quite understand why they felt it wasn't possible. It's a bummer, I really prefer playing Atari 50 on my VCS.

when you get you hands on a DS you should look for a game called WarioWare D.I.Y, it includes a little DAW program. A guy named Louie Zong made a full album in it.

The DS-10 is the only "Synth" I've ever used in my live. Made a song with it which no person other than me ever heard, because I can't be arsed to record it via the headphone-out for a youtube upload. That said, I've used the Little Sound DJ tracker for Game Boy extensively. That's my preferred Nintendo-adjacent music making machine. Always preferred it to Nanoloop too.

I started this video thinking 'he hasn't heard of the DS synth thing??' and then immediately thought 'wait, there's an Atari synth thing?!', lol. There's also one for the Nintendo switch! I've played with both a little bit through emulation, and you can do a lot with both!

There was an updated version of of the DS game called the iDS-10, it is a now discontinued app, if you have an old phone you can load pirated apps onto I would highly recommend it, they added the neatest voice synth to it that I still use to this day.
