I’m Dr. Teresa Diaz. I’m an OB/GYN physician and functional medicine doctor. I specialize in menopause.
Menopause is a life changing transition for women that typically occurs in our 50s. When I say menopause, I’m also talking about perimenopause. It typically occurs in our 40s. It can cause huge fluctuations in our hormones. I treat many women in menopause who do not understand what is happening to their bodies.

I'm listening...and this helps so much...I was listening to this while breastfeeding...and remembering how many babies were deprived of this due to the infant milk formula movement in the 80's...how it is another one of those things we are only beginning to understand more fully after 2 generations...how it sets up this sugar addiction...how we are even conditioned by the maternal diet in utero... It got me reflecting...how do we 'abuse' and are 'abused' in so many ways...what is acceptable and unacceptable to talk about...what is known and unknown...layers upon layers... Keep on going...you are onto something Dr Teresa Diaz...and you are beautiful inside and outside...
