Well, it looks good at the end. I guess you knew what you were doing. haha
The last 5 minutes of the film need to be extended, by at least another 10 minutes I'd say.
Just cutting joists without doubling up? Hmm.
Oh my. I cringed when you cut those trusses.. this is not how you install a skylight.
He didn't cut any trusses, it is a conventional roof, perfectly fine to cut those joists and rafters as he did.
Ha ha ha 7 mins 45 sec intalation no way
massive balls... so when you cut in to the truss, then you lay the weight from the top of the truss on to the weekend ceiling joists..... how does that handle? like taking for joists out and putting a load bearing wall on, no?
should be doubleing up on joists and trimmers or in the uk it wont pass building regs
@LightGesture this was not a trussed roof so you are not cutting any bottom chords
@@SNORKYMEDIA agree should be done here as well this was a dodgy install
