Hey! So you wanna hit max rank Fire Breath when there is multiple mobs (unless you need to dodge something). In other words - you would only do rank 1 FB when your fighting 1 mob/boss

In some scenarios a healer would benefit more from it if huge heals is needed. but overall you give it to the tank to boost the damage output. Never use it on yourself you don’t really need anything else but mastery tbh so it’s just a loss. You can min/max with the tier proc. if you have a fire mage and destro lock in your party, the destro will be your main dps to buff and can force the tier procs there. But in my opinion it’s really not necessary to track. Hope it makes sense and thanks for the comment mate

Hey thanks for the comment. It’s actually just a bad habit I can’t seem to shake. My brain just wanna instantly buff people especially if I have a ret Pala that opens with all cds so he won’t miss out on the main stats from ebon might. Ideally you wanna cast prescience first for the eruption procs. So it’s 50/50 if it’s worth or not because you can still keep ebon might rolling for the entire time if you get the right procs - I haven’t done the math on it. Hope it helps a little bit even tho I dont have a 100% correct answer for this

Hey mate, Its a weak aura. I would recommend to get these two - the first tracks the ebon might uptime and the last is the one with the glowing buffs: Augevoker - Ebon might self buff Augmentation evoker CD helper

Hey mate, Yes. to keep it simple, the shorter the dot time the more DPS output.

Single target yes. For mutiple targets you generally want to uprank to proc leaping flames (living flame strikes x additional targets) to proc essence burst, which will allow you to cast eruption faster, and without essence cost

Hey buddy! Thanks man! Kinda depends, if you feel lazy you can just let the smart cast AI apply the prescience. In other words just throw it out randomly. If I’m pushing higher keys with a destro and fire mage I would use it on destro for max damage output. There is an addon where it will make the needed macros for you called: AugMacroHelper. It will create a macro for the shield to target the tank and for prescience to target your wanted dps, so you won’t need to think :) Hope it answers your question mate and thanks for the comment

Hey! Tbh im playing around with it but yes there is a reason! 1st you have a talent that gives your party a shield of 30% of the damage done in your breath (so you can use it as a party defensive) And second, if you know there will be a lot of movement in the pull I usually try to combine my breath to extend my Ebon might due to the lack of eruption casts and try to line it up with incoming damage. With that said you gotta think ahead time to get the benefit from the shielding talent.

No its purely the smart casting behaviour. it will prio the tank and healer sometimes when you have more than 3 prescience out at a time. im sure you could macro it to only target the DPS, but you will need to re write the macro before every dungeon if im right. so yeah CBA xD

lets say if we have a higher key and youre on team with a Destro lock and a fire mage i would target the destro lock with prescience since he would be the primary damage dealer. so i guess it kinda depends on how lazy i am and on what key level im running

@@ThersWoW So in raids, do you let the smart casting target do its magic, or do you hard target your prescience?

@@evilazza14 im pretty sure theres a Weakaura or addon to make it more easy to see who and when to buff people. I do not raid as aug at all since im only foccused on M+. If i do raid i go as Dev or heal. so cant really help you on that one unfortunaly

Hey mate! Pretty much just keep Ebon might rolling for as long as possible. And dig into the mechanics on when to use the defensives beforehand, especially zephyr. Try to use Ebon might and then max rank fire breath -> upheaval (rank 1 or channel till you hit the targets you want) and spam eruption. And use precience on cd pretty much :) Hope it helps
