go 7-28g for other people wondering the same. Because 28 is really the heaviest you will go with like fladbukken and stuff. But sometimes it can be really good to go with lighter and smaller lures closer to shore.

Maybe I am a SAVAGE lol, but I use a leader or a thinner fishing line, with about 6-8 flies and then at end there is a throwing bobber for weight in the throw, then a lock snap on other side and then connect that thing to a normal fishing rod with a normal fishing reel and throw it out....sometimes I get 4 or more Harr/Greyling on it when I reel the line in

I agree on giving the pool a rest late in the season when no or very few fish are running. Fishing on old fish is much more difficult. Early or mid season there will be more fish running and if you rest too much, you might miss some fish that pass by. But no rule without exception 😋

Hur är det, är fisket stängt numera för andra än campens gäster ? Med det priset kommer annars fler att tälta och slita mer på naturen samt skräpa ner.

I would suggest a camping stove if you aren't fishing with a guide all the time. It's usually not a good idea to return to the camp for lunch or coffee, since you will loose fishing time.

Firstly Sam keep up the great work! A great video and very much needed research. Here in Ireland we seem to lack scientists who also have such a passion for angling. I would be interested to see the same carried out on sea trout caught in the fresh water systems where they maybe more vulnerable. On our river all of a sudden since 2016 we have seen a dramatic increase in fungus infection killing trout even before spawning. They seem to be more susceptible all of a sudden. We have been battling from answers but no one can pin point a cause. Arguments have been made that trout have been handled and released for many years and why now are we seeing this fungus killing so many trout. Environmental factors could be having impacts yes but no research is being carried out which is frustrating. Keep up the great work.

I typical fish with #6/8/10 trippel hooks on my lures. I agree that the hooks mounted from factory is too big for Sea Trouts as I see it. Some times I use 1/0 single hook, used the 3/0 but it broke when I tryied to un hook a fish, so I stopped to use those. Bombarda and fly fishing, yes I doing all diciplines, I use small #12 three hooks and #4/6/8/10 flyhooks. Trippel hooks and landing net is not a good combination. Too big trippel hook will, if it is a small Sea Trout, in bad cases actually poke through one of the eyes from inside and out. Not pleasent at all. Thats why I try to fish with smaller hooks. For your information, we are also able to catch big Sea Trouts in Danmark :)
