Great catches, great day out surprisingly all our fish caught today were on lob worms we did have a rod out with a live bait for pike but they wasn’t interested in the slightest and chose the worms for dinner instead 🎣

As planned we set out before first light in search of big perch on lob worms however on this very cold but peaceful morning the perch were having none of it. Few hours went by with not a knock on the float I casted 1 last time tight as I could against the boat with a few maggots over the top the float struck under and I was treated with this greedy pike
