A cool way to get to a Cincinnati Reds game is to go to Newport, Kentucky and go to the Hooters on levee and take a boat ride on a paddleboat across the Ohio River and get dropped off right near Great American Ballpark.

I’ve learn more about Ohio then I ever want too 😂🤪
Nah… you’re not there yet.
I lived there! My Dad was the Reverend Minnick at the church right down the street from the falls (Bethel Baptist Church). I lived right across the street from the Mennonite camp/church.
Nice, nice! The Christmas lights there used to be a pretty big deal. Wish they’d bring them back.
👍🏻
Epic idea and trip! Do Indiana next - there are 92 courthouses!
I actually looked into doing Indiana in the future as it would be the most doable from Dayton. Not really an easy task in knocking these out in such a short time so I may leave that for you 😂. BTW, wish me luck… I fly American Airlines this morning. I had it booked before you said how much trouble you’ve had with them.
@@TheTolleRoad Oh no! I really hope you have a smooth experience both ways!
How did you like the town of Lancaster me I am bored of it thinking of maybe going back home
Was through Lancaster pretty quick on this trip but I used to go there all the time when my stepdaughter played softball for the Lancaster Pride (Central Ohio Pride now). Not a bad town at all. There was an issue once with a guy overdosing at the park but you get that about anywhere nowadays. Some decent restaurants and cool history with General Sherman being from there.
Another good adventure on the road with Tolle! Love your videos my friend. Such a great idea to do this.....don't listen to Skid....Finish strong then head to WV to do the same things there!
A good rule of thumb is to never, ever listen to Skid 😂
Hey Tolle, I just learned that we have an Ohioan to thank for a holiday. Since yesterday was Labor Day, we should call out that fellow born in Greene County, more specifically Cedarville, OH, located between Xenia and Clifton, OH. U. S. Senator James H. Kyle is considered the "Father of Labor Day".
I dropped the ball then! And the video was even released on Labor Day 😞
Marietta is the first city in Ohio, so now I know where the Tolle Road leads to (at least for the next county courthouse video😂) Another great tour of Ohio’s courthouses!
🤔 maybe 😂
Two of my old stomping grounds....Toledo and Bowling Green. When you started mentioning famous Toledo people, thought for sure you would know some PRIME candidates. Lived in BG for a couple years before transferring to UCF.
You were too obvious of a choice to mention in Lucas County. 😂
Marietta it is. Almost done with your epic journey. Another cool leg of your trip
And I finally got to use that old footage of the Hopewell trip we made!
John took us there long ago i loved rhe ice cream
Very good stuff! I need to go back in the non mask era
There is one in Lancaster Ohio i ate there many times
They opened one in Springfield area which is about 1/2 hour from me.
I am related to General Custer on my late mother's side
Oh wow, that’s really cool!
I was born in Circleville at Burger Hospital 49 yrs ago. I grew up in Ashville then at age 12 I was moved to Fairfield County to Lancaster etc
Sounds like you should know that area of Ohio pretty well then.
Pickaway County is where I was born and grew up till age 12
Cool exhibit another one we have been wanting to check out 🙂
Better get there quick!
Finding that info on passengers really made this video great to watch!
Totally agree. Brought someone’s story to life.
Maybe your chicken sound is more accurate than Jurassic Park since they were closer to birds. Really cool exhibit. Sorry to hear that 3rd Class Tolle did not survive. Looks like you are doing tryouts for your sidekick.
Still holding out for your brother as a sidekick. Tough to top his 🦃 performance
I had Percy as well. 😂 My mom & I went yesterday. So incredible to see in person. I believe it may have been better in 2010 though. They had actresses dressed up & everything back then. They even let us walk up the grand staircase to have our pic taken but this time it was roped off & we had to stand at the bottom. Still amazing nonetheless. Great video as well. Thanks for sharing.
Oh that would have been cool with love actors! Poor Percy 😂
@@TheTolleRoad poor guy was trying to make it to Dayton, Ohio. With that as his destination, he was screwed either way. LOL R.I.P.
Bummer you didn’t survive your cruise on this unsinkable ship 🤪😂
Never found my body so maybe I was rescued by polar bears and am still living in Greeneland 🤔
Great special exhibit and good time hanging out as always. I'm glad you did the cosmic crapper 😂
And we both died… 😂
Hey Tolle, any time you are taking a voyage, whether to space or sea, it would be good to buckle up when on the throne ;>}
Yes! Bathroom 🚽 injuries are a big issue! An airbag would be nice too.
The artifacts from the ship look awesome, i bet it was beautiful to see it in it's time. I must be much lower than 3rd class since a $900 ticket is too much for me🤣🤣
😂 yeah, I’d be looking for 4th class!
We went to the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge. I too didn’t survive. I really enjoyed the exhibit so much I bought great book “A Night to Remember” by Walter Lord recalling the final hours of the ship. 🚢
Oh cool! How was the book?
@@TheTolleRoad it was so informative I think the movie was based off it
I totally love the Titanic, almost to the point of obsession. The model of the grand staircase was so cool! Amazing to see the bell and the original horns all well preserved! I'm definitely going to have to track this down and find out where it's showing next!!
Yeah, it travels around quite a bit over the years. There was quite a bit more than I showed too. I wish they would’ve had the ice water like the one you visited in Gatlinburg.
COSI in Toledo used to be fun. Not a big Titanic expert nor fan...never have seen the movie even! Great video though Tolle. We watched the whole thing!
There were a lot of people who weren’t big fans of the Titanic after its maiden voyage 😂
@@TheTolleRoad reply of the day!!
Thanks for posting! I'd like to have seen a pre-war Sear’s aluminum “Waterwitch" outboard motor on display.
Great suggestion! They should add one if they can get their hands on one.
This is such a great covered bridge!!
Extremely cool. It is only a couple blocks from downtown Eaton if you have never been.
Some really cool courthouses! At least you guys are on the good side of them, i hope 😂Sometime I wanna try a Maid Rite sandwich, I've heard they're really good.
Yeah, much better when you are allowed to walk away 🤣
Another fun video! Loving seeing all these beautiful courthouses! Yeah Florida has some nice ones but they aren't as cool as these!
I’ll bet Florida has some cool old Spanish designs in a few of their courthouses.
@@TheTolleRoad hopefully I'll start visiting them soon.
You normally need to be a much shader character to visit so many court houses 🤪😂
So Tolle, the Purple Gang did their dumping in Ohio....I heard the Purple Gang tried to get Robert Stack and the Untouchables off of TV because they were exposing too much of their illegal activities.
I hope they don’t come after me now 😂
I remember standing on that field in formation, probably the proudest I’ve ever felt
And you should have been proud! Much respect to you and all the others that have gone through.
My mom makes the circus peanuts! Been doing it for 50 years
I didn’t think I liked Circus Peanuts until I visited Spangler’s back in January! Had to get some on this trip and now I feel like I need to go to the store and find some more.
Since you are from there… Have you been to the Father John’s restaurant/brewery in the old church? It wasn’t open the first time I went by and I didn’t have time on this trip.
Circus Peanuts are the best !
@@TheTolleRoadyes Father John’s is really good! I’d definitely recommend it
Moving right along! I think my favorite in this one was Williams County. That courthouse looked like a sandcastle. It was nice to see a revisit of the Dum-Dums tower and good to see Nelson the Big Foot is doing okay. We haven't seen a big bite in a while, nice to see two in this video!!! That line always at Maid-Rite! Must be some great food there!!!!
Maid-Rite ALWAYS has a line. Pretty much a sloppy Joe without the slop but I sure as hell enjoy them.
Maid rite I'm jealous. Lot of history in the naming of the counties alone.
I’ll bet your dog is jealous too 🤣
In Huron County, you said "thats a cool looking house". The building you are referring to is actually the old Huron County jail. There was a connection between the courthouse and the jail.
Very cool! Thanks for pointing that out. I thought with its proximity to the courthouse that it was probably county administration related.
I grew up in Sandusky county and lived in Mercer county. I like both courthouses from both counties.
I like Mercer County Courthouse and the cool downtown strip right by it. In Fremont the courthouse is cool because it was really unique compared to all the others.
5:30 in the morning is dedication. I am so invested to this video. You are right there is always a canon is in most court houses. My favorite stop on this series is the dedication to Mark Coleman. One of my favorite UFC fighters of all time. That light house reminds me of the light house at the mini golf at the funeral home. Thanks for taking us around.
Coleman was a beast! I think Ahlgrim’s lighthouse was just as big 😂
We love lighthouses. Great tour. Nice Dum Dums shirt! Driving west coast of Michigan is fun. Haven't done that in years
Michigan has so many lighthouses it is nuts. More than any other state.
Another fun day chasing courthouses with you. Love this idea and thinking I will do this in Florida sometime.
You should do it. Florida is so long and narrow that I’m not sure if that would make it easier or harder but I guess you wouldn’t have to do it all in one trip.
@@TheTolleRoad being centrally located helps too
People say if you've seen one you've seen them all. This is so not true. Very cool idea. Yes Lake was our favorite one too
I was very unfamiliar with Painesville and have to say their courthouse square area was extremely impressive.
I remember him on an episode of "F Troop" as the singing mounty.
I'm definitely going to have to find that episode!
@TheTolleRoad One of my favorites! Great acting and singing!
The county with the cradle of coaches! “Buckle up, buckaroos…” you missed a perfect buckeye mention, since you are probably going to get a huge Ohio viewership. Highly industrious statue. Haven’t had Lima beans in a while. Imagine getting Lima beans shot at you from a cannon. Did the guys shoot the sheriff with Lima beans? On brand with Reds gear! Perfect for 84 degrees. Free hats! What a guy. Jamie Farr.
I think it was a "take a hat, leave a hat" situation. Could be yours just for the price of a Brewers lid!
I’m not going to say something about your pronunciation of Du-boys county names
Appreciate it 😂
Ole Allen County and that Off the beaten path guy
If you ever get that way you should check out the Allen County Museum and eat at a place called Kewpee Burgers. 😂
@@TheTolleRoad heard that place is a top burger destination
Pretty cool idea for a series of videos 🍻
Hopefully 😂
I’m still waiting for Williams 😂
Coming soon!
