I’ve got one in my tackle box basically on the orange beaded part is where you attach the crappie baits the bottom part where the clip is is where you rig your weight and the barrel swivel attaches to your line like a leader and rotates to your line doesn’t get twisted up

I forgot what that rig is called but it’s for crappie mainly it suspends small crappie baits in the water column a few feet of the bottom your supposed to rig a tungsten weight off that barrel swivel

It's pretty much an overflow pond/ reservoir

Where you first started walking around is where the underground pipes are that they push water out of to the small spillways back into the coosa. When the water is flowing through the spillway back into the coosa is when the shad will be back down there. That's why me and preacher man keep that spillways cleared out.

It's a reservoir bro. And they're definitely still out there. Got a crappie and bass out there the other day. Hit up the other side as usual . They pump water into the pond with underground pipes that goes back into the river . Whenever water levels are high which is what's going on now until summer it will push water out of the pond into the river still but the river will flow into the pond to keep it from completely flooding. I was just there last week
