Welcome to my Amazon fish tank again! In this video, you’ll see a group of Panda Uaru (Uaru fernandezyepezi) chilling in their sort of naturalistic environment. The Panda Uaru is a unique and beautiful freshwater fish known for its striking black and white coloration.
Panda Uaru Care:
🐟Tank Size: Panda Uarus are relatively large fish, so a spacious tank of at least 75 gallons is recommended to accommodate their size and activity level. Here they are in 4500 liter aquarium together with other amazon fishes.
🐟Water Conditions: They thrive in soft, slightly acidic water. Aim for a pH between 6.0 and 7.0, and a temperature range of 78-82°F /25-28°C. In my tank pH is 8.5. They are adapted. But t...

Enjoyable, but slightly overpopulated, isn`t it ?
Thanks for the feedback. It’s a large tank, ~4500 liters, with a powerful filtration setup behind it. You can only see half of the tank, but all the fish. I think this is the maximum number of fish that can be kept in this tank. 👍

Beautiful. How big do they grow?
Thanks a lot! In the fishtank usually pearl female grow up to 50 cm, male could be ~40. Black diamonds 60 and 40 accordingly. Mines currently ~45-50 cm.

When stingrays grow up, they will suppress their smaller neighbors.
I don’ think as chalceus are running above and myleus are big enough to be caught up. But let’s see. If any issue will sort out the prob.
