Wow. The old "chemical solution in one spot on the table-cloth trick, so that only the card placed there has all of its black ink become invisible and all of its formerly-invisible ink turn red". And P&T fell for THAT old saw. Didn't they notice that the ink for his own name is RED? That's because no inks exist such that touching a little bit of chemical will change black to invisible while changing formerly-invisible to black. Dipping text into a chemical to change what it says is known as the old "fleck dip" move.
@@jaspermcjasper3672 boy I hope you are kidding
3:09 - When Alyson chooses Teller's word at 3:09, she nails his accent entirely. If I watch with my eyes closed, I can't tell that it's not really him but her.
this guy should be on Penn's other show... Bs
@@JH-ht2yx thank you for your constructive feedback
They are so nice, 9 out of 10 times they are not fooled but they say they are
@@thehandleisuseless guess I am 1 out of 10 then. Thank you
I'm going to be completely honest... I didn't even catch that any trick was done. So when the routine ended and everyone was clapping, I was confused because I didn't think anything actually happened. I went back to watch a 2nd time and understood what was supposed to happen and then I saw on my 3rd watch how it was done. What mainly confused me was how disjointed everything felt. From Pavlovian bell ringing to picking words and counting letters... it didn't feel like a natural progression at all. Like what did Pavlov have to do with the trick at all? What was the significance of gathering those specific words from Penn? There just didn't seem to be any real logical thread at all. It was like reading a story that starts off "Once upon a time there was a princess." And then on the next page it goes "And then the child graduated at the top of their class. The end." Like.. was there even a story there? Why did it suddenly end? What even happened? - Essentially my feelings on this routine.
Thank you for your feedback.
Anyone who says they caught this first time is lying.
I got it second try. The first time I thought it was a mathematical trick
I actually liked this more once I figured out how it was done. *SO* clean and smooth. Not "hard" or flashy sleight of hand, but nevertheless a masterful card trick. One of the purest magic tricks I've seen. I was 100% fooled in the same way Penn and Teller were the first time I saw it. Anybody who has done magic has used this method for something and yet two of the greatest magicians of all time still didn't pick it up a couple of feet from their eyeballs.
Thank you so much
Thank you so much
Wow thats clever. Here is the "coded" solution: Some of those names were upside down. Here is the uncoded explanation: He flipped the deck over at 4:10 the deck has some cards facing the wrong way on the bottom side. The bottom card has his name on it. It is irrelevant what words they choose.
Mister, that was smooth!
Thank you
So smart. My first guess was the same as theirs. It's not fair that we can guess a second time. But I hope I'm wrong again because he was very good and deserves to keep his secret.
Thank you
Wonderful, but the real icing on the cake is still seeing Alyson in 2024 - no magician can beat that!
Superb......I liked it
Thank you
I love how the simpler things fool Penn & Teller, by just adding an extra element, and they over guess, and get stuck on one piece. Like the Asi Wind card trick, which had him tear up a paper carousel, and the actual trick was 3 other decks in a wooden box that was taken of stage. At least according to irehman7. Or the Ring (with additional prop;) by Garrett Thomas.
You had me convinced a giant penny was rubbery and then made it dissappear by I think just putting it on top of your head 😂 like 30 years ago in your basement. As a kid I knew you were an awesome magician, this is incredible and not surprising to me in the least. I am late but congrats to you good sir.
Wow. Thank you so much
"This is not a card trick." It was... Only after I rewatched frame by frame. This was brilliantly disguised and I knew what I was looking for and still struggled to pick it.
Thank you
Nothing delights me more than seeing P&T fooled when I am not. Nice work.
Thank you
I dont believe half of these ppl ATLEAST.... They lie straight thru their teeth when theyre caught and didnt fool them.... They just dont wanna leave empty handed.... So oathetic, they lie and you know most of them do
The producers know the trick, if the magicians lie it wouldn’t work.
Teller wiggling his foot realizing he missed the sleight of hand on the cards cracks me up. such a great and simple trick with excellent stage presence, loved the entire routine!
Thank you.
Pavlov was cruel. Nobody wants to admit it, but wait until you find out the exact experiment they conducted.
Very clever (and creative and powerful) to do the trick in such a way that they didn’t know what to look for. It’s more difficult to try to recreate after the fact. A lot of times magicians make known what they’re doing, but here it was “ What’s going to happen?”
Thank you
OMG that is so clever! Congratulations on a well-deserved trophy. Brilliant move! 🙂
I know leaving a comment helps you in the algorithm, but that's all you're getting from me. I paused on the first second to deny you a view & gave you a nice thumbs down, just for spoiling the results in your title/thumbnail, and now I'm going to block your channel so I don't need to worry about it again.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!! CHRISTMAS IS RUINED
@@davidcorsaro 🤣
omg it's so funny when you see it
This trick was absolute genius to perform on Fool Us.
Thank you
This is mind blowing. A simple flip of the deck. He took a big shot chance thinking they wouldn’t notice. And they did not. I am kind of disappointed in Penn and Teller
Penn : We were burning you and yet you managed to flip the script on us. Congratulations.
What an absolutely stunningly simple trick that was only apparent because it was caught on film.
Thank you
The funniest part of it is I think Allison saw the move that Penn and Teller missed as they were looking for a push or number game. lol
When? And what move? People say it’s at 4:09 but I don’t see anything?
@@Ally.Cat.252It was when he is scooping up the cards. You can see him flip the deck when he sets it on the table. Genius move and too many moving pieces with all the mental math going on. Excellent showmanship.
Allison was going to break the bell from excitement ❤
Wow I'm amazed, that's really the proof that you don't need to have insane techniques to pull off a stunning magic trick, literally a child could do it but it leaves you speechless anyway thanks to your great delivery! Great job there
Thank you
Wow, just wow... how did the boys miss this one?? Even tho the televised image changed to another camera at an inopportune time( for the viewers), i'm still shocked this wasn't obvious to anyone who could see it the whole way thru
Because the misdirection was designed to fool the people at the table, not the camera. And it worked
This performance is definitely on my top 10! Simply amazing! 👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much
Wonderful but the easiest trick ever!
Lol dont know how they got fooled, this was the easiest card trick I've seen
Because this was designed to misdirect the people live. Not those watching on TV. And it worked
Briliant. And the fact that you literally explained the trick before they went down the wrong path. Superb.
@@austinalbertdsouza thank you
Every time the dog drooled, Pavlov would ring the bell.
