I notice they're using a Windows computer of the era for the quizzes. That seems less sophisticated than the computers they use on other versions of the show.
I reckon if she wasn’t the mole Alaina could have easily won. And maybe after two previous moles being men then the skinny little blonde 21 year old girl is not going to seem a likely suspect.
I don’t mean to keep commenting but I have… thoughts. So interesting compared to the previous season where both suspected Michael Laffy but it came down to who knew more about him and then this season no one ever suspected Alaina at all really. Was she an amazing mole for being so stealth or was it because she did a mediocre job? I also wonder how it works if no one is suspecting her ever? Like how do they determine who gets eliminated? Someone have one or two answers right by good luck especially if it’s guess work or things about a shirt colour but if no one suspects them then surely everyone could be eliminated really. Also joe said he suspected Alaina the week he was eliminated 🤔
I found it interesting that Alaina wasn’t in the opening credits for the first episode. I get it… a clue and particularly in the day of watching something once and then never again and then never again it would go undetected when you are still learning who all the contestants are. But people watching this who knew Alaina personally and knew she was on the show would surely notice this? And this combined with the online forums at the time and the opportunity for viewers to win money if they identified the mole… felt like a slightly too obvious clue really!
Alaina is very intelligent, she is now a plastic surgeon. I wonder if she was studying medicine at the time? Maybe they didn’t want to convey how smart she was so hid it.
These challenges are all used in the US and UK versions of the show. The sequence is identical to the first UK episode, while in the US version the hostage game is in episode 2.
A different vibe the first two, I guess it happens as a show finds it’s feet. Still good though! So interesting watching knowing who the mole is. There are already clues and they actually aren’t that subtle, especially for viewers who personally know the mole.
I don’t totally get how this works… feels so unlikely that only one person would suspect the mole even with people pretending. So could both people suspect the mole but someone has a bit more information about them like shirt colour at x challenge? And even with the eliminations… I get someone had the wrong person, but others might too? How do they decide which one goes?
Is it really cheating to look at that sheet? They were left alone and probably bored. I get the clause in the contract but i don’t think that was necessarily their motivation.
Kate killed it. Legendary stuff. The only issue is that she basically is guaranteed to not be the mole, which makes her more likely to be eliminated cause other players have less options to choose from
SPOILERS I had thought Kathryne was the mole since the clipboard incident. She was the only one who checked the clipboard and i thought for sure production would want someone to do it, so she probably knew about it.
Person who knowingly signed up for hit multinational reality TV show The Mole: the Mole from hit multinational reality TV show The Mole which I signed up to be on is lowlife scum >:(
The murder mystery challenge was quite interesting! In traditional mysteries of course you're usually aligned with and rooting for the detective, but on The Mole I assume most people are rooting for the prize pot rather than the player offered an exemption - I'd have the roles reversed, with the victim and murderer working together for exemptions and the detective representing the group's interests, so this was an interesting twist. That was a LEGENDARY slip from the killer though. They were allowed to lie that they couldn't accept, I assume, but that was some sharp detective work. Made me cheer against my usual Mole pattern for that exemption to be won after all.
Season 1: oh no! your teammate is being held hostage in a remote but well-lit, heated, and usually windowed room! they can talk to you on the phone, because they have to do a math problem to give you hints! Season 3: WELCOME TO THE MILGRAM EXPERIMENT SUCKERS. TORTURE YOUR TEAMMATE WHO'S STRAPPED DOWN IN A DARK CELL TO POSSIBLE HEART FAILURE WHILE HE GASLIGHTS YOU
I hope this is like....iirc UK, where the mole was told not to mess with the charity challenge. We didn't know at the time but it was nice to hear in the methods revealed episode that even though they did the usual ominous voiceover because they do it every challenge there was no actual sabotage.
This whole season was amazing, I'm sad from the comments section that I guess there was never another...my only nitpick is that while Tanya was a great mole on her own merit, it feels like a *couple* challenges were handed to her (and it even turned out, more than they needed to be because other players lost them anyway) because they relied on something going perfectly rather than allowing for one or two mistakes. One, that means she could singlehandedly lose them if she had to which would be both suspicious and a little cheap, and two, sure it's tense up until someone messes up but if it only takes one, that means as soon as someone does the rest is an anticlimax instead of getting to experience another stage of suspense. In that way US Mole feels a little more generous, but also paces out its suspense since even if one player messes up you're still on the edge of your seat untill the very last person goes...
(No spoiler alert cause it's my first time watching, but theory alert:) From this point on, if i were Dorothy, i would know that the mole is Heather. She has not mentioned the bible at all. She just did again and gave me no trust at all. She is the mole 100%
They should make a new series where the Mole tries to maximise the pot and doesn't sabotage anything.
I don’t really see reason to include the heart rate component. They can control doing the activity but can’t really control their HR.
I've watched a whole bunch of seasons from the US & UK, but this is the first time I've seen a male and female contestant sleeping in the same room
It’s hard as a show evolves, a much less raw vibe than s1 and s2

These players are (so far) having a much better success rate than their counterparts on the UK version

Thank you so much for uploading this!!

Maybe the mole was too stealth, a bit underwhelming. How does it work if no one ever suspects them? How do they determine who goes?
I've watched all seven seasons of Mole US and two seasons of Mole UK, and in none of those were the first three eliminated contestants all men.
That’s pretty insane to do a solo jump after one tandem one!
That diamond task is difficult and so easy for the mole to sabotage without arousing suspicion.

22 years later… we need to see how Crystal looks now to compare
Alaina is so smart! She is actually a doctor now so this all makes sense
Presumably the mole backs off for charity challenges even if it affects their kitty
Joe clearly didn’t double cross them what a ridiculous take
Watching this from darling harbour currently! Weird

I didn’t notice him thanking Brooke! Seems so obvious now!

Awww my favorite player left 😔 same as last episode lmao
December 2024. Did not expect this to be as popular as it is.
Me every episode: Shut the f*** up, Charlie!!
30:21
Will Jan follow through and give them all 5k?
Not sure if Abby was after a media career but good on her for getting one, seems Ben’s never happened!
Thank you so much for uploading these!

Only Kathryn was valid for refusing her task. Getting painted in the nude and wearing two casts is child's play
The banker..........
Woah Jim Wilson looks so baby faced
Thank you for taking the time to find the entire series and uploading to RUclips. 🎉 made my entire year
Anderson Cooper 😂 😂 😂
20:16
20:27 😂😂😂
Aw I was rooting for the person who got out

it could also be bribs, idk...
5:29 when you accept the tearms and conditions without actually reading them
"who here thinks jim is the mole?" jim: *raises hand*
