Just north of Samara Beach we drove over two rivers in the jungle in the middle of nowhere to find the Flying Crocodile Lodge and flying center and took an incredible flight over the coast and jungles around the Samara beach area. Flight lasted approx 24 minutes. This video was taken with my iphone 4.

That thumbnail looks like a painting
Schools side! Lol
I loved all the mistakes and muddles! They al had a moment and that’s exactly how live music should be 🎉
Tony Rice is so fucking good RIP
The late Jimmy Reed on mandolin.
Yup,....there’s a whole lotta Chesapeake Bay Retriever in that sweet pup!
5:50. Dude it's called the mandolin
At 1:28 approximately. That mando player hits a major 3rd over the relative minor chord and then flattens it to the minor 3rd. A small moment but a bold moment. Or perhaps a mistake?
Jim Reed, rest in peace! Not likely a mistake! Miss him.
I listened again and it sounds like a mistake that is corrected on the fly but it's a little bit after time stamp...
Ats rite.
This page is the f,n swearword awesome! Thanks for posting. This thunderstorm coming from three. Damn. RIP Captain Al..
You can tell that Tony was having a friggin' blast on that one!
Rather have a gun and than a crutch!!!🤔😕 Story of my life, but nobody said it would be painless! “Do just once what others say you can’t do, and (hopefully) you will never pay attention to their limitations again!” James R. Cook
YEAH SON...
RIP
YAHOO!!!!!!
Don't know who the bass player is, but you go girl.
R.I.P Tony Rice
Saw Bryn at the grey eagle tavern and the orange peel in asheville about 06. Too afraid to approach her afterwards. ❤💘💕💖💋
🔥🔥🔥
🔥💖💖💖
I was there! Amazing show. Thanks for posting.
B
pretty cool
Even Tony was laughing at how sloppy he was and I'm just glad to see that he's human After All
Fantastic - 💜
Bill Holden on the banjo! Great playing - and be sure to revisit Bill's playing with the Country Gentlemen on the album "Joe's Last Train". It is SOLID! Thanks for posting this video.
The pooch is part “Chessie”. Got Chessie curly butt fur, got Chessie “rooo” got dog hugs.
Oh yes. Definitely Chesapeake Bay Retriever!
Lol my name iz Samara
That very last lick on the guitar from tony I could listen to over and over again.
1959 Joe and Rosie were leaving the Blackboard in Bakersfield Ca. headed for L.A. Writing in back seat of car, I believe when this song was written. He was nicknamed Joe Strings Maphis for playing the double neck guitar.
Wow! That's some mighty fine pickin'!
why you didn't show the base, it was good!!!
Bass...
I don't know who I enjoy more Tony Rice or Doc Watson safe to say that regardless they are two of the greatest
You need to check out Norman Blake too....
I would have expected to see Pat Flynn with this group. mosrite60
I don't care what One Direction says, this is the Best Song Ever.
oh my lord that is darn tootin'
If you look at woody/listen carefully, before the opening song he's yelling about this piece of shit guitar backline not being to his liking and having some tech issues. Very funny stuff. I'm the guy who took this vid by the way, Cheers.
Burritos do it alright but I am pretty sure this was a Joe Maphis tune from the early 50's
I never get tired of this tune
The mandolin player is Jimmy Reed. He grew up with my son.
Apart from his voice :(
That isn't Don Rigsby on Mandolin. Don't know who he is, but it isn't Don.
i guarantee you it's all on the fly
Gregg who? Mule kicks this hard. Actually Warren & Woody saved the ABB from a quick death in 1989. Without the dynamic duo the ABB would Never have been around past then.
i agree with that comment more than i agree with any other comment on yt. woody was god on a bass.
Been meaning to thank you for posting this stuff for a long time...so, thank you!
Good...
I think the hiccups are at first because he's playing with an unusual band of fellas. The second solo Tony does is burning hot, I think the hiccup at the end was because he wanted to keep going but the mandolin came in, his reaction time to that situation is sick.
We used to get sick of playing that song. After playing it a few hundred times, you begin to get sloppy, because you take risks with new things. Tony has played it probably a few THOUSAND times, so cut him some slack.
I don't ever want to hear someone say their fingers are too big to play mandolin ever again :)
This band used every piece of sound equipment we could get our hands on. Great.night!
