Looks like the main street out of Herberton, Atherton Tablelands. Been there many times and thats a very steep hill. Just look at the houses.

Anybody know what the extra set of snorkels/scoop on the back of the 2nd Mack Titan truck are for? Obviously the front are for the fresh air intake for engine, what would the back ones be for?

Two things going on here, one the slope and two being the heat....the road surface becomes hot enough where its on the verge of melting which can cause tires to spin loosing traction and damaging the road.
How much did it weigh in all. Just seeing if you guys knew.

😂 A Komatsu PC1200 weighs over 110 tons plus the trailer weight and they are pulling it up a pretty steep hill that is a stack of weight to haul up there. I'd love to see some euro trash do it any faster, also these Mack's are Australian spec and built and they are purpose built heaby haulers with reduction boxes and hubs. They really aren't yank trucks.

Still not 750 of usable horsepower buddy. If tou think these heavy haul trucks are set and standard power levels too, you are greatly mistaken. There is a big C501 Kenworth over here with a Cummins generator spec engine, it's got no emissions crap or egr like your lousy Volvo is running and its pulling out well over 700hp and from I last heard roughly 690hp at the rear axles, lets see an FH750 do that all day and everyday, it just won't last over here. Euro trucks are disposable trucks, Australian built rigs are not disposable and are built to last.
