Yep almost always gear 3. I cranked up the acceleration of 3&4 in the app but I like that 3 has a top end cap around 20mph.

a stiff deck, small wheels, what did you expect? get cloudwheels, remove the grip tape, put cushioned foam and add grip tape, wear bouncy springy shoes.

I find if I ride more than 5 miles my back foot/calf will be a little sore, but adjusting foot placement helps. If the road is rough my back calf will be pretty sore. For shorter rides the regular wheals are totally fine

If you get the hub version it has a tiny bit of resistance but mostly rides freely. Belt driven boards cannot be pushed. Exway has a standby feature on all their boards where you can turn the remote on and the board automatically turns on too.

i just bought these waiting for them in mail, how did they improve your riding experience ?

The X1 Max was only released a few months ago. I got it when it first came out.

@@scottyvibes8531 also on the exway site it says pre order for mid January on the x1 max meaning theyre selling them in smaller "batches" for lack of better term.

@@P.Subaeruginosa True true. Exway is a smaller company than most people probably think, so they do not want to overproduce. And since COVID likes to mess with them

The board is water resistant but not water proof. If it is actively raining or the ground is still wet I would avoid using the board. It risks something eventually breaking. Also, you will find that if the ground is wet the wheals spray a ton of water up at you and you will get kinda soaked with gross puddle water. If there is only a little bit of water on the streets I ride through that all the time and its fine :)

@@scottyvibes8531 Also skating in the wet is like driving your car with hard wheels with no tread in the rain. You have zero grip and then acceleration and braking will result in sliding. Think fishtailing.
