I do wish Laura wouldn't leave her hyperspace portal hula hoop lying about. I only wanted a quick wee.

The Mice from Bagpuss Singing at Original Recording Speed
Просмотров 50 тыс.10 лет назад
I was watching Bagpuss with my daughter when the mice started singing. Digital pitch-shifting wasn't around in Bagpuss' day so they must have recorded to tape at one speed and played it back at a higher speed. So, what would it sound like back at the original speed? Playing at 72% speed reveals all. The female voice is Madeleine's voice (the rag doll) accompanied by a man in the strains of hero...

Laura's 1st Birthday Message from Howard Jones
I'm preparing myself to forgive you...
I have said it before, and I will say it again. You are a genius. An absolute genius.
So was this before Vernon met Petunia?
Didn’t get this film the first couple of times I watched it, I tried again last night and wow this movie is genius, hilarious all the way through
Where the hell do you come up with calling a cat; It's like a bloody rugby ball!! That's so off the wall. The dialogue in this film is exceptional. It's my favourite film of all time.
I’ve watched this film many times and I’m sure he calls Withnail “Nathan” 🤔
What a loss richard Griffiths is. My favourite line is when he says norman will be 'wintering with his mother in Guilford, vim under the sink and both bars on'
'sensitive crimes in a boat with Norman'!
Monty's verbal attack on the cat is exactly what he thinks about his nephew Withnail.
beastly little parasite 😂 beastly ungrateful little swine 😂😂😂 i can’t
I MEAN TO HAVE YOU IF IT MUST BE BURGLARY 😂 i can’t stop laughing
One of those voices is Oliver Postgate himself
“Flowers are merely tarts, prositutes for the beeeees!”
I have a ds-330 and a sc-33 obtained a few weeks apart. It was confusing at first, wasn't expecting twins. When I noticed Boss on one unit and Roland on the other I was baffled to say the least.
Mmm excuse me
"I respect you for your sensitivity. I THANK you for it." Not alf!
"No cats were harmed in the making of this video." Not for lack of trying....
Sign on at a Labour exchange?
Does anyone know what a "reeses negative bloody Mary" is? The drink Monty requested...
He says "rhesus negative", which is of course nonsense in this context if you take it literally (as there's no actual blood involved), but it's a pun on the "bloody" in "bloody Mary".
@@avalanche3731 Thank you! I've wondered about that for years!
Sherry? Sherry. Sherry? Sherry.
Sherry
"If you think you're having a weekend's indulgence up here at his expense, which means him having a weekend's induldgence up here at my expense you've got another thing coming."
All three of the actors in this scene were either cast in the titular role in some iteration of Doctor Who, or else were very nearly cast in the titular role in some iteration of Doctor Who.
I will. Never. Play. The Dane.
Classic line 😂
‘we are having a late luncheon at 3’
YESS you arrrre.. COOOURSE you arrrre
Monty only got 10 minutes but he was hilarious and very quotable
Toilet trader
Yet again, that oaf has destroyed my day
Everything about Monty is so charming and hilarious . Except the story of Norman ...
“I sometimes wonder where Norman is now. Probably wintering with his mother in Guildford. A cat, rain, Vim under the sink, and both bars on. But old now. There can be no true beauty without decay.”
Timeless. ❤
Sit down, do!
I intend to have you, even if it must be bulgery.
Burglary as in forced entry without permission, but could it no doubt also reger to turd burglary?
A magical film!! so unique in its storyline, acting and dialogue.Richards acting is on another level.👏👏👏
I mean to have you, even if it must be burglary 😂
Monty is charming
Uncle Monty’s house is probably worth around 8 million quid now!
Richard Griffiths was 39 in this movie
The cat stole the show
Beautifully painful
I will never play the Dane. When that moment comes,.. Genius "Madman" Every line. Every. Fkn. Line. In the whole film.
Who knew all those years ago, that homosexuals were convincing people that they are homosexuals.
Richard Griffiths was such a fine actor and left us far too soon - God bless you Monty, much loved and much missed❤️
I’m never sure what’s real or imagined in this film
toilet trader lol
'Do you like vegetables...?'. I wonder how many takes they had to do before they all managed not to laugh at the way he said that line.
1:02 the way he says "ThE BeEs"
what an all time classic!! Funny he said shin shin, I thought for an upper class English...
Calling a cat an oaf is still one of the funniest things ever
That and "beastily swine."
It's trying to get itself in with you.
Not to mention ‘thug!’
It's like a rugby ball as it is! It will die, it will die!
@@-______-______-😂😂😂 god uncle monty is so funny
The demented homosexual was played perfectly. Always fantasizing, gaslighting the victim once rejected and then finally sneaking out because it was rightfully a crime. Who knew spreading diseases and engaging in dirty practices would result in backlash from normal people around you? The hippie and lgbt movements were some of the most harmful to this generation, we are only seeing the effects today. (transgenders in childrens bathrooms, sex offenders reading to kids at story time
